Grand Hotel Terminus

Hotel across from train station and in the center of the city. Everything in a walking distance. The room was bigger than expected and very comfortable. They saved my luggage until time for me to go to cruise line.

It is steps from the train station. The bar in the lobby is lovely and inviting and they have really great food and drinks. The bartender there was very accomidating and informative.

The trains in the morning can be a bit noisy is you need some peace and quiet. It is an old hotel which is charming however that makes the bathroom and bedroom smaller than a more modern hotel.

Next to the Bergen central station. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. The side of the station the building was on had less traffic noise which was good. EXCELLENT breakfast.

I don't believe the thermostat in our room actually controlled anything. Had to open windows to keep temperature comfortable. 2nd floor room with windows open led to unnecessary road noise.

Breakfast was only thing we thought was good.

They cleanliness and the no heat.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, the personnel was extremely kind, the room spacious, with such a comfortable bed and the breakfast delicious...We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every moment we spent there, I could not have asked for anything better! Hope to be back one day

Breakfast was great. Dinner in their restaurant was very good. Location was terrific easy walking distance to harbor area and attractions, safe neighborhood.

My only complaint was the size of the bathroom which was very small. If my husband had come on the trip, it would not have worked for him at all.

The hotel is a beautiful and grand stay. The service in the hotel, from reception to the dining areas, was wonderful. All the staff were professional and couldn't do enough to ensure your stay was a good one. We had a wonderful breakfast each morning and thoroughly enjoyed cocktails in the lounge each afternoon or evening. They had a washer/dryer available for guests to do self service laundry (and offered a laundry service) which is very helpful for long holidays!

We had a suite in the new wing and on a sunny day the room was uncomfortably warm since there are no windows to open to allow the cool, fresh air in. The hotel was very accommodating though and placed us in another room when that occurred. The hotel is across from the train station, hence the name, and some of the rooms could hear the street noise.

This a piece of history in the most convenient location in Bergen! The train and bus stations are right there, and the city center is just a short walk away.The hotel itself is so beautiful and elegant and has one of the best and richest whiskey bars.The staff is always smiling, always friendly and eager to help.The rooms are very fresh and clean.And the breakfast is amazing! High variety, very fresh, very tasty and sure to meet everyone's preferences.This place is a top recommendation!

Some of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is so well-located, being near the train station, Bybanen and bus terminal, and walking distance from the town centre. Nice facilities and good breakfast spread.

We had to extend our booking and the staff were so helpful in making sure we didn't have to check in and out, and they were committed to making our stay comfortable and pleasant. Great location near public transport and sights.

I would definitely recommend the old school charm, the incredible breakfast, and the location just steps away from the train station. Also, the front desk could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

The room could have used a little more light and definitely more outlets for charging devices.

The room was not worth the money. Quite dated and minimal. The mini-fridge is on but doesn't work. No amenities whatsoever except shower gel.

We were booked into the villa. Initially the idea seemed like a good option however we quickly realised that this is not the best option for couples. The villa is really only designed for large groups who can manage their own noise levels. The walls are thin and all guests can hear everything down to people sniffing and flushing toilets in the next room.There had been no coffee machine working so we had to walk outside and round into the main building for any hot drinks just like we did for breakfast. We were not shown around the main hotel nor had we been given any instructions for the villa. Overall it was a two night stay where we were close to the light railway, had we stayed longer we would have asked to move rooms due to the noise.
