    Pros +

    • I liked that my room had a small kitchen and bathroom was decent. We felt very comfortable to use common area.
    • Great location and had almost everything I need for a very good cost.
    • - Great location. - Showers were clean. - Cleaning lady was nice.

    Cons -

    • The bathroom did wet weverything after we showered, it would be better if they had a box or glass to separate shower from the toilet instead of just a curtain. They also could have left some utensils in the kitchen of the room. The laundry also stole some of my coins before it starting washing I had to ask a staff to start it .
    • A bit more privacy would be nice, with curtains on the bed.
    • - Kitchen access is forcefully denied from 9PM which is absurd. Couldn’t even use a microwave. - Social area amounted to about 3 square metres containing 2 little couches wedged in front of a tiny TV which is far below par for a hostel. - Bathrooms smell. Creaky beds in dorm.

Amazing as always, clean, tidy, close to center

Good location, near to the train station. Shower room super clean. Didnt see any staff, cause I have arrived late, but they gave me a code to access the gates and my own room, super easy.

Toilette was smelling bad the whole weekend. Wasnt super clean, but it was not terrible.

Handy location. Seemless booking and check in.

Bag storage situation was not well organized or described. I was afraid to use it because it was unclear if/how I would be able to recover my bag outside of business hours.

    Cheap, has everything

Everything is simple, beds have no cover from light, overall hostel is not that friendly (not a "party hostel") but you just go to it to sleep.

    security issue

I believe the kitchen close at 10pm would be more reasonable. Moreover, they need to think about if the one password for all regulation works, as someone tried to switch my luggage dial knock to 000 to steal, I am quite sure it is not my roommate. CCTV is not everything, better security method they need to work on.

Right near the Bergen Train station. Staff gave instructions how to get in. And they can let you store luggage after check out.

The hostel located right at the heart of the city, has good connectivity, very friendly staff always available for response, rooms are beds are clean, quiet and comfortable. Spacious kitchen, multiple showers and toilets. Overall, highly recommend!

Big kitchen, lots of showers and toilets

The fire alarm rang 4 times in one night (night from the 20th to the 21st of December 2025). Not the hotel's fault but it would have been nice to explain to us what was happening. The toilets didn't smell good every time.

The bathroom was good at least and the shower too

It was difficult to find and when finally did the experience was very bad. I was in a room with multiple people instead of 4 beds, on my bed there was dirty underwear of someone else. I decided not to sleep there as it smelled very bad and it felt very dirty.

A lot of toilets and showers. Amazing spot in the centre of Bergen. Big kitchen with enough cooking possibilities.

In the evening it smells like shit in the hallway

    6NeringaPosted on: 11-30-2025

    Very central, excellent location!

Cold, very old house. Small rooms, but ok for the price

    9KenramarokPosted on: 11-27-2025

Great location in the very heart of the city. The bed was comfortable and so it was the facilities. The common area was large. At the reception I got something to print out and she was willing to do it for free with a big smile. I will come again there with no doubt if I would visit Bergen again in the future.

As i need to shave regularly and often, I always expect to find a large sink in the bathroom with a large mirror. Here it is very tiny, like if it is only meant for washing hands.
