Set in a historic building with traditional colonial architecture, the hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of Chaco Paraguayo Parks and Asunción Bay. Asuncion Palace has air-conditioned rooms styled in a warm palette and featuring French windows with floor-to-ceiling curtains. - Old-style hotel full of charm and character. Wonderful staff who made me feel at home. Will definitely stay here again if I ever return to Asuncion.
- I liked this hotel a lot. It was historic and full of character and well located to get around the old town (which isn't very big). We had a top floor room which was much larger than I expected and was stylish with a very comfy bed and a nice modern bathroom. The road at the front of the hotel was quite a busy one in the mornings but our room was well insulated from any noise and we slept really well. The owner had been really good to us as we were arriving in the early hours of the morning so she had emailed me to tell me that the hotel reception was prepared for us and she also arranged a taxi from the airport. The whole place was well kept and well managed and was very clean. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly and although few spoke English my basic Spanish got us through fine. Breakfast was okay but hadn't a great deal of choice. All in all this was a lovely hotel and was fantastic value.
- Excellent value for money. Very large bedroom and super comfy bed. Excellent Wifi Excellent breakfast Great location The two gentlemen at reception very professional and helpuful. Only negative we had a room at the front of the hotel so it was noisy with the street traffic.
Cons -
- Complementary bottles of water in the bedroom would have been a nice touch.
