Wonderful little hotel in old maison with anexes. Each room unique. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant also popular with locals. This time the restaurant was hired by a party, but the staff had for their hotel guests free coliflower soup, sallad, bread and coffe. Breakfast with a lot of warm options. Locations close to tourist attractions and transportation.

The only thin I did not like was the pancakes. Cold, tasteless. Not even cream and strawberry jam could help

Location: this hotel is within sight of the train station and just a few minutes walk from the castle. Old town is just little further in the opposite direction, so the cathedrale, museum, and shops are easily reached.

Food was average; we had better breakfasts during our month in Scandinavia. The biggest problem was the location of our room. The window faced the patio where patrons of the restaurant and bar partied. The music played until 10PM nightly. We complained a bit, but were not offered another room in the main building, on the front side until we complained again during checj-out. Too late! In their defense, they did have a large wedding party booked for the weekend.

One of our best stays anywhere! The staff was amazing and so helpful. The hotel location was superb, so close to old town and castle! The park across the street is so beautiful! The room was well appointed and even had a fan which was a life saver! We fell in love with Slottshotellet! The breakfasts were full and fun. The bar was well equipped and dinner was delicious. You must stay here!

Historical building with charm. Very close to Kalmar C train station.

Its location was ideal, convenient to reach on foot from the station and close to the museum and to the marvelous historic castle in Kalmar. We slept well as the hotel was blessedly quiet. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were courteous and accommodating when we needed to store our bags for the day.

Nice place with lots of yard space, great summer ambiance. Great location easy to reach and near all landmarks and the train station.

The rooms interior, signs of wear off and scratches. basic amenities not present for the expected value.

Very comfortable, great location

Our room looked into the courtyard and it was very loud. Music played late and people were out until midnight on a Tuesday making a lot of noise.

It was so awesome! This boutique hotel is such a gem in Kalmar city! Went there for Easter and I wish we stayed longer. Close proximity to the central station, the Kalmar Castle and museum, and the shopping/resto area.So so charming and will definitely come back.They have incredible breakfast buffet with made to order omelette. Definitely not your typical Swedish simple breakfast...an elevated version, that is. They have also "kvällsmat", soup, salad and bread light dinner included in the price. That was a nice touch for when you just want something light for the evening.

Wish we had stayed longer.

This hotel is an absolute dream. The location is perfect, and both the exterior and interior are stunning. The rooms are beautiful, the beds unbelievably comfortable, and every detail feels carefully thought out. The staff are warm, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and set in a lovely space. A wonderful stay from start to finish — highly recommend.

I have stayed at property before and like it because its convinient location. 5 min from bus and trainstation in the old part of the city. In summer green and lush surrondings.This time I arrived late and leftt early. An extra treat is that you can order a breakfast bag the night before if you are an early bird. Also, they have a very good restaurant0

Actually nothing. You have to be aware that this is not a big hotel in an older house with annexes with small but cosy rooms

Get location near Kalmar Castle. Friendly and helpful staff we were invited to an annual party in the courtyard. They even brew their our beer, a tasty Pilsner call Top Dog.

Nothing - all good

Lovely hotel close to the castle and town. This is the perfect location to stay. The room was very quiet and well set up.

We had no issues

The staff was so friendly and service minded. I loved the Massage that I booked. So skilled and good to make the best of my booking.

The bathroom was small

Seating in the breakfast room is cramped. I do not like to be allocated slots for having my breakfast. Breakfast selection and quality was very standard.

Beds were unacceptable. Springfeathers that must have been at least twenty years old. Bed were very small, but could hardly be bigger considering the size of the room.

This is a somewhat classic hotel, close to the center of Kalmar, with easily accessible city center and Slott. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant provides a pleasant environment.

The hotel has a ton of charm. Nice with coffee and tea and a water tap in the reception. Very nice garden restaurant outside. Hotel parking was good but you have to book it ahead of time!

Too few and badly placed power outlets in the room. Very small rooms, extremely small shower. No elevator.
