Included breakfast was adequate, and it made the cost of a standard twin room a very good value.Use of laundry inexpensive and a big bonus for those on long trips. Staff was very helpful.

Room size for a standard twin was rather tight.not much space to put a. Open suitcase.

Small, but clean rooms. Great breakfast.

Location was good. Staff was friendly. European type breakfast was plentiful.

A nice hotel, located 15 minutes walk from downtown Kalmar. Our room was small, still nice and cozy. Free parking a benefit.

It is okay for a night and its very close to the Kalmar city center. small room and small bathroom. But its clean and good staff. Deasent breakfast, I miss scrambled eggs though.

Super friendly staff. Great choice for breakfast. Everything clean. Additional services such as bike rental, coffee and cookies or fresh made sandwiches at the reception.

Doors are self-locking and therefore loud. Thin walls let you hear a snoring neighbour or him using the toilet at night. So take ear plugs with you...

Very nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast. I particularly appreciate that they have porridge and real teacups, not only those tiny, silly coffee cups that most hotels have.

The standard is somewhat simple but good for its price.

It was in a beautiful setting and we really appreciated having laundry facilities available to use. The staff was friendly. The room was simple but clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The separate beds were a little bit narrow but they were comfortable.

Good hotel and everything worked well. Kalmar town is pretty.

Parking place was full and it took bit of manouvering but we managed. It would be good if free parking is promised that it can be ensured when booking.

Location, friendliness of staff, clean room, breakfast

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was nice and fresh, with very comfy beds, two 90 cm wide. The toilet/shower was fresh and clean. The breakfast was a very nice buffet with the usual stuff to choose from. Free parking, but limited number of spaces. There is a shared kitchen in the basement where you can store cold stuff and even cook. Coffe, sodas, snacks and some sandwiches on sale in the reception.

The price was a little bit on the high side. No air conditioning. No fridge in the room. Some dust on the floor in one corner, otherwise fine and clean.

The place is a strange mixture between hotel and Vandrarhjem. Evaluated as a Vandrarhjem, the place is above average. In hotel terms, the standard is definitely 'economy minus'. Everything you need is there, but extremely small rooms etc. Booked as a hotel, I found the price too high - especially as the breakfast (included) was also of 'economy standard'. Okay, but below the ''Swedish normal' for breakfasts. Very little fresh fruit, for instance. It's not that near town, around a 15-20 minute walk. But swimming is nearby, if that is what you want.

The shower construction rates 10/10 for ingenuity - you will hardly believe it until you see it. Unfortunately, I would rate it 1/10 for comfort and convenience, which is what matters to the guest. Hardly worth the bother, take a room with toilet but without a shower. I have experienced this before in Scandinavia, where they desperately try to squeeze a shower and toilet into one square meter or thereabouts, Why?... Most travellers like a decent shower.

I liked nearly everything including very friendly service, easy acces to nessesary information in English, key and acces system, good breakfast buffet and nice location. The location is only 5 minutes from the city center (by car) and yet just next to a lake and lots of trees. I also like that the place is quiet and has elevator.

I did not like the extremely small toilet room. And the little desk in my room was also small enough for me to get annoyed by that.

Thank god it was only 2 nights.

The rooms. If the double rooms were singles, they would still be very small. Smallest beds I have ever seen. The toilet was so small you had to have the door open to sit down. Breakfast was sparse, and I had to send back some stuff because it was stone cold.

It was my first time in Sweden for visiting some friends and I stayed in this accommodation, my experience couldn't have been better, I recommend this hotel for anyone who visit Kalmar, the price is very accessible and they serve a very good breakfast in the mornings. If I ever visit this city again, I would stay there again!
