This hotel is located on the shores of Lake Mälaren, 7.5 mi from Eskilstuna and 71 mi from Stockholm. It offers free WiFi and lake views. Sundbyholm Slott’s guest rooms are located on the grounds of a small 1640s mansion. All rooms have a seating area and work desk. Most rooms offer views of Lake Mälaren and the harbor. Sundbyholm’s suites have a separate living room and a spa bath. Some suites also have their own sauna. The Castle Restaurant with lake views offers an à la carte menu during the weekdays. - According to the photos at Booking.com one expected to be accommodated in the castle but in reality it was a building from 1960-70s. Nice and everything but not what was expected.
- For the price you pay for a standard room you would expect there to be be toothpaste in the bathroom... Additionally, the adjustable shower head holder was broken, meaning the shower head had to be held in one hand, whilst washing with the other.
