Pocitos Plaza Hotel

The location is great. All the employees were so kind and in great mood.

I was not able to pay with a debit card

The business room is big and comfortable. Wifi connection is good. Breakfast had everything I wanted. It is one block away from the seaside. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Some of the plugs/accesories are old or not properly placed.

A little bit old and the parking isn’t free

The hotel and the room was very clean, even the floors on the room which isn’t common in Latin America. The stuff, especially evening shift worker (unfortunately I couldn’t remember the name) were very professional and kind. The hotel itself is very friendly, they offer bikes and beach chairs and towels for free. The area is good, the promenade is close as well as different cafes and shops.

The staff was absolutely incredible and location were absolutely incredible. Definitely the highlight. Rooms were a great size but very very outdated and definitely not a four star hotel. The bathroom smelled weird and the shower felt very old. The breakfast plates and silverware were not cleaned well either. Totally fine place but felt more like 3 stars than 4

Nice place to stay for a few nights, good location, parking on the other side of the street (although paid). Nice staff, breakfast decent.

This hotel is in a perfect area. It is at walking distance to the beach and many sights. Even though it's in a busy area, we had no issues with parking...if the hotel parking was full and we couldn't find street parking, there's a parking garage across the street, which was very convenient. Generally, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We were in a Quintuple room and it was large enough for all of us. We never felt like we were in each others way. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well.

The dining room was a bit small and at times, we had to wait for people to finish eating to get a table. We were there in the spring...so in the summer when the hotel is full, it must get very busy and the lobby must be full of people waiting for tables.

The location is great if you want to stay in Pocitos area for reasonable price.

WiFi was terrible in the room, probably when more people on the same floor were connected. Downstairs in reception area it was better. The bad WiFi is the only reason I would not book here again.

The included breakfast was fantastic! They lent me a bicycle with no charge and I could easily navigate the city--particularly along La Rambla. Bikes are respected and THE best way to see the city. The bike was a new Trek mountain bike--probably as good or better than my own personal bike. Everyone was SO nice. Highly recommended!

The elevators were slow? Pretty minimal critique.

Location ok. But room was old and sold as "penthouse suite" which it most definitely was not. Bathroom and patio ok

Torn and dirty curtains. Floor with chips in flooring. Breakfast loaded with carbs and coffee not that good

Well located. Friendly staff. Coffee and lemon water always available.

I recommend you take a power lead for all your electrical needs. We had to unplug everything to recharge our phones etc. Not impossible but inconvenient and we didn’t have much. No socket near my bed so I had my phone in the bathroom charging

Spacious and clean rooms

The gym needs updating. You can't work out there with the current equipment and weights. The sauna is in a strange location and it's not comfortable to go there.

the bed was old and the mattress had a deformity in the center wich was deeper than periphery. Couldn't seelp at all

Nice hotel, the staff is kind and always ready to help. The location is very good, in the famous Pocitos neighborhood, with good connection by public ttransportation.

Breakfast room seems small for all the host, sometimes there is no place available. A suggestion may be asking the guest the time for breakfast, in order to distribute them.

I think if you can get it for under $45 USD it is a good option. Very good breakfast, helpful staff and I would definitely return.

Great location in a nice walkable neighborhood with a few a good restaurants. The staff were friendly.

My only real complaint is that the bikes they had were not in great shape and I couldn't adjust the seat height. It was rusted in place. I was looking forward to cycling along the Rambla but couldn't.

The outlets were falling out of the wall. It says there is a sauna and gym, but the sauna doesn't work and it seems like it hasn't worked in years. The gym equipment is from the 1970s or 80s. It is very old and hard to use, like no one has used it in years. Also, the kids' area is dirty. The mats look like they have never been changed. the bathroom smelt like the sewer was backed up in it. It also seemed like the walls were never cleaned. but the bed was clean
