Quiet, central location , clean
Small rooms
Breakfast was great.
The shower's selector (switch) was inoperable with a lose cap. We had to call the receptionist to deal with the matter, but there was no proper solution. It was offered to change the room but it was too late. We ended up taking a poor shower.
The property was very clean and the staff very friendly. I was satisfied with the room size and furniture. The breakfast fast was ok. I think the addition of fruits will be a good idea (I can’t remember seeing any). The air conditioner in my room (403) wasn’t cooling enough. I didn’t complain though, because it wasn’t a hot day.
Convenience, price, location
Red bed throw was stained
Regular hotel with good service. The only problem is wifi. You have to work in the lobby, cause upstairs in the room there’s no signal.
Breakfast was excellent as well as the location. Only one block from bus services to all places.
Room was small, pillows were old and worn. The last day our toilet broke and we had to move to another room.
The Oxford Hotel is a simple basic hotel. It has a good location and was spotlessly clean. It’s not a luxury stay but offers solid value for money. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is priced accordingly so there is nothing to complain about but the lobby and rooms are basically furnished.
the room was very clean and lots of storage space
the towels were very worn out, there‘s not enough space to sit at the breakfast
This is actually quite a nice hotel, despite some of the negative reviews, the room I stayed in on the 6th floor was recently refurbished, comfy bed, good shower and cleaned daily. Location is very good only a short walk to the main street. Found a wonderful restaurant on the same street, Paraguay. "Montevideo Al Sur" well worth a visit
While the staff at reception and the housekeeping staff are friendly. The ladies at the breakfast counter are the most sullen, unfriendly and unkempt, dirty uniforms, unprofessional bunch I ever came across. Never a good morning or a please or thank you. Somebody should tell them that if there were no guests the would not have a job. Management should step up to the mark.
Passable
No sleep all night dripping water from old aircons. They changed my room to top floor then room very small.Breakfast not really suitable for Aussie pallets. The staff were so helpful.
location was awesome and easy to find. Travelled there with a car so offloading luggage before check in and parking was arranged perfectly. Breakfast was delicious and very easy to eat it quick (which matters a lot when you travel for business). Room was comfortable and everything in there made sense.
good locationclean and spacious roomgood and clean bath room, good shower pressure
poor wi-fi inside the room
Except the manager, front desk staff was nice
The hotel claimed I could pay with Amex but indeed they only accept Visa with a surcharge of 100$. Incredibly overpriced, dirty and with a ridiculous breakfast
Service, room and breakfast were fantastico!
Good breakfast, nice staff, good location
bathroom might need a renovation
Good location and comfortable room
Breakfast service was very poor. We had to wait for a table, the tables were never cleared from the previous patrons, no glassware or plates throughout the service so had to use a saucer, no hot water, food wasn't replaced in a timely manner, and there was one toaster for 50+ people. Myself and other patrons were becoming increasingly frustrated and we left without having a coffee or breakfast.
