Scandic Roskilde Park

Our room was bright and roomy and we loved the ability to open up all the windows to get great ventilation. We had the junior sweet that was one big room and it worked perfectly for us. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic as were the friendly and helpful breakfast staff. The reception staff were also so patient and accommodating and open to making us happy! Shout out to Amanda— what a gem and also Kate during check out working with out special requests for paying the bill. The location was great and an easy walk from the train station.

It was a trade off for the great room but we moved to the busier street side. It was still worth the move because the room was so open and bright! The junior suite that was two separate rooms seemed smaller and the windows of the room with the sofa did not open so it was stuffy. Luckily they were open to moving us. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was pricey and not great. Their breakfast was much better.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They did all they could to make us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent! A great value as it was included in our room rate. It has a beautiful outdoor seating area and it’s in a park so it’s very scenic and family friendly. The decor in the rooms is very up to date and very clean.

The location. This hotel would have been perfect if it had been a little closer to city center or if there had been restaurants and stores nearby. But that can’t be helped and we were aware of its location when we booked it. On the plus side it is an easy walk to town and it is in a beautiful park. We had a view of the lake from our room.

Bad shower. No fridge. No cleaning

Nice stay. Good location if you are passing through. Room was a bit cramped, but we appreciated being able to walk out the back of the hotel and into the trail/to the playground with the kids.

Good breakfast. Not far from center.

Huge queues for check in / check out. Room was not super clean. Quite expensive.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is cozy, clean, and has a really nice atmosphere. I felt comfortable during my stay and would definitely come back.

The pillows were not very comfortable. Also, just a small advice: if a guest makes a mistake, it would be better to mention it privately rather than saying it out loud in front of everyone.

Location and nice staff

Since we had seen the exhibit at the museum about the Roskilde race track we didn’t put it together that this was the same location as the track. Maybe a little display or information at the hotel would be interesting

The breakfast was really good. The staff was very polite and friendly. The park around the hotel is so pretty if someone wants to walk or hike. The rooms were comfortable and clean!

The check-in queue was too long. They didn’t clean our room on the next day which was surprising. The location is far from the Roskilde city Centre. It’s about 20 mins walk and most days it was raining so we had to take a taxi and that wasn’t the best part. We didn’t plan to use taxis as they can get expensive.

Clean, quiet and convenient.Breakfast buffet was fabulous.

The restaurant was closed on a Saturday night.

The hotel is well situated with access to big green areas and running paths

The cleaning of the room was not done well even the check in was very late at 4.00PM - in many other places usually it is around 2.00PM.

The food is excellent here, the breakfast is as good as anywhere that I have stayed in the World, friendly staff and always very clean

Would be great to have some water in the room, like you used to

The location of the hotel was convenient for us. We really liked the friendly staff , good breakfast.But the price for the room was overpriced

Breakfast selection was very good. All staff very helpful and welcoming.

Very nice staff and excellent breakfast, however the hotel is quite old and the rooms were fairly average. Fine for a stopover.

It is for bigger parties and conferences not necessary for a stay over on the move

The sauna wasn’t great at all. It’s only working when you a ask reception and even after an hour, it was barely 60 degrees

For the facilities the price was too high

Comfy hotel with a delicious breakfast buffet. Dinner options were also good. The staff was very kind and helpful with everything. Sauna temperature is 60 degrees, but there is no rest area afterwards, just showers. Big focus on sustainability and ethically sourced ingredients.

Every aspect of our experience here was excellent. We chose the hotel as it was very close to Roskilde hospital where my husband had an outpatient procedure. We had no expectations that the hotel would be as good as it turned out to be. Service was excellent and that includes an outstanding bartender and dining room staff. We can easily recommend Scandic to anyone visiting Roskilde. .. great stad, great bartender and m
