Hotell Havanna

The style, the atmosphere, spa, bar, the quality of the rooms. It is a 3 star hotel which is far better to stay at than some 5 stars. They even have hair conditioner.

Great breakfast and restaurant at Hotell Havanna. Also a great spa worth a visit. Varberg area is also very beatiful.

It was such an interesting hotel. Almost a museum and art gallery as well. The attention to detail in decor was amazing and it was very clean. Lovely food and lovely staff.

We did book a small room and it was indeed really small but everything worked well.

This is a cool Hotel in Cuba style, here you can relax with a good cigar and sip on a tasty Rom. The staff is very helpful and nice, parking is free just outside. The breakfast buffet was very good and the diner at the restaurant was delicious. Close to city Center and the sea, perfect for a nice weekend. We will be back,

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Havanna! The staff were so kind and friendly and spoke exceptional English. Special mention to Josefin who served us at dinner on the first night and gave us a brilliant quick crash course on the history of rum on the second night, and helped us try out and find a new rum that we love! The spa was excellent quality and such a treat!

The only downside is that the twin room was a little bit small for two women with quite large bags - not a lot of floor space.

Very narrow bed, in our small room. However, this was due to the fact I booked very late and no larger room was available at the time.

We stayed here a few weeks before and gave a good review for the room. But on this visit we were given a room that was very small ...in fact the smallest room we have stayed in during the last 40 years !!! The shower room was also small. When we mentioned it, a member of staff said "Well it's a double mini" ...which is not what I booked.We ate lunch which was very expensive, pre-cooked and over salted ...very disappointed to see the lunch menu options again on the evening menu. Our fish choices were well cooked for the evening meal, but the dessert was poor. The joke was the coffee afterwards. We wanted white coffee ...we received a mug of "worker's" coffee that had obviously been prepared for some while, that was "plonked" on the table. We had to ask for milk and sugar. The staff were different from our previous visit. These staff appeared to lack training in customer service and restaurant skills ...leaning across customers, dropping drinks and table service manners. Finally, breakfast was not ready for 07.00, a cleaner had to show the breakfast manager where the sugar was, some of the cooked food was cold and the hotel staff appeared during the breakfast service while customer's were there to help themselves to coffee. All in all it was a disappointing and expensive night's stay compared to the previous one.

Really surprising and rather wonderful. Great hotel, close to the sea, Cuban themed with friendly staff, a wonderful spa with hot tub, pool and saunas. Delicious food and cosy bars, would recommend!

Got upgraded to a superior double room with balcony and sea view. Never happened before at Havana so very nice surprise. Love the spa. Good food. Love the cigar room.

Thanks. We really enjoyed these 3 days, The kitchen, atmosphere and the spa was really nice ! The life music banbd was an extre bonus :) There is an amazing rum and cigar collection. I just recommend to visit it.

The fantastic environment ie the interior. Very friendly personnel.

Breakfast was plenty and diverse but the coffee was not that great.

Wonderfully designed hotel - the Cuba theme to the max.We got upgraded to a larger room with balcony. Comfortable and light room. Excellent breakfast.

The Cuban style throughout the hotel worked well, from the food to the rooftop Rum bar.
