The location was fantastic, a block or two from the beach and fortress on one side, and the city center and the sights on the other! The hotel was very comfortable and the rate included breakfast, afternoon fika and dinner! All excellent! And for small fee, they do your bag of laundry!!! And they have a big gym!

This was a great find. Staff were helpful in answering question related to my travel plans. Breakfast and dinner were provided. The place is clean and plansent.

All good. they are doing renovations now which is always different when staying at a hotel. It will be nice when finished.

Good location 5 minutes from city center.Free car parking in front of the hotel (this is no so obvious in Sweden)VERY good gym available for hotel guests for free (this is not hotel gym, but it is located in the same building, entrance directly from the hotel corridor).

Food in general. Breakfast just acceptable. Poor variety.The dinner in hotel restaurant is just bad. No choice at all (one soup, one type of main course, sparking or still water to drink). I booked a room with the meal included, but on third night went to the restaurant in the town anyway.

The room had no windows- and I was not told up front about it. The fridge did not work. TV was flickering in and out. Food was very average. Lights did not work properly

The breakfast was lovely.

We were disappointed with the evening meal after reading reviews raving about the food. There was no choice just either a piece of fish or vegetarian dish not available to see.

Great value for money, nice clean spacious room. Cheerful staff. Good location. Nice breakfast.

We had an adapted room as my partner uses a wheelchair. The only downside was the bathroom, no antislip mat in the shower and no handles to hold on to at all in the shower. Those are simple things that you should find in an adapted room.

Really friendly reception staff. Breakfast and dinner included so good option if you’re on a budget. Plus opposite a great bakery for cinnamon buns!

Room had no windows and completely dark on arrival couldn’t see card slot thing to activate lights hidden behind a curtain and on locating couldn’t figure out how to insert card in the dark Some warning about this would be helpful for reception at check in

Spacious room. Comfy beds. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice staff. Near the sea with possibility to take a swim from wooden bridges or beach. Just a short walk to the city as well.

A broader selection of wine would be nice. Nice bathroom, but old and a bit tricky shower-handle.

Nearness to Varberg city.

Hair in the shower drain. Scaffoulding outsider the Windows and nets. We weren’ t informed about that while booking. To hard bed in my likeing.

The location was good, clean and spacious rooms.Breakfast had lot of good options.

There was not much option for dinner, there were just beef stew and salad, but for someone who doesn't eat beef he has to fill up by just salad.I consider electric kettle as a basics thing and most of the hotels provide it, but not this hotel.

Great location, wonderful breakfast and food, very attentive staff and the facilities are very comfortable. They really put the guests first, serving fika and everything to keep us very comfortable.

I like the one stop shop facility of dinner, B&B and no need to book a table for dinner.

I didn't like that my did not have a window and that the doors to the room and bathroom looked like jail cell doors

Needed a little tlc in rooms

Good breakfast, near cycle path and town center attractions.

Beds were the most comfortable of everywhere we stayed between Sweden and Denmark. The food was exceptional and the Gluten free options made me super happy!!! Bathroom and room were clean, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Location, close walking to town square, beaches, parks. Easy to access, easy to find. Free parking infront of the hotel and free parking (with parking disk) almost everywhere in town. Quiet hotel (our door was a bit noisy, it kept rattling in the frame). Perfect place for a family who want to be close to activities and want good traditional Swedish cuisine. (Though if you are a foodie, go to a restaurant instead).

It was hot! It wasn't a particularly hot day, but the hotel was hot. Our room had a missing light bulb and no plug socket next to one of the beds. The shower pressure likend waterboarding, but it was okay. Very few mirrors in the room and the window was very small too. Food was good, but it reminded me of old schooltrips. It's one meal (not really vegetarian let alone vegan alternatives - apart from literal salad). The only downside was the partial rudeness from the other guests - felt like a rugby game getting breakfast.
