    Pros +

    • Breakfast , night reception went well.
    • Cosy hotel with nice restaurant. Rooms are simple.
    • I stayed at Hotel Kryb i Ly Kro in Denmark for six nights, and while the hotel has some genuinely positive qualities, my overall experience was mixed — mainly due to the breakfast situation. The hotel itself has charm and character, with a traditional Danish atmosphere that feels cozy and inviting. The staff were polite and generally helpful, and the location was convenient, especially if you’re traveling by car — free parking and easy access to nearby areas were definite pluses. The indoor pool and sauna were also nice touches, offering a bit of relaxation after long days.

    Cons -

    • Little bit old looking
    • Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major disappointment throughout my entire stay. For six consecutive mornings, the selection never changed — not even slightly. The same limited items were offered daily, with very little variety. The bacon was particularly poor: old, hard, and nearly impossible to bite into. The vegetable options were minimal, served in very small portions, and lacked freshness. For a hotel of this standard and price point, the lack of rotation, quality, and creativity in the breakfast buffet was surprising and frustrating. It felt more like a cost-cutting measure than a guest-focused offering.
    • We had a dog with us, but the room didn’t feel very dog-friendly. The hotel charges €40 for a dog, which is too high compared to other stays. The room and bathroom were on a dirty side, with old carpets and a moldy smell. The small bathroom had a short showerpipe and weak water pressure, making showering difficult. Dirt was falling from the open ventilation hatch. The room was too warm, and the beds were very soft, causing back pain. We found a parking spot, but it was the only available on a full lot due to an event which the hotel said nothing about in advance. Communication with staff over the phone was in Danish, despite us comunicating in English.

The hotel building felt really cozy as it is quite old. It is situated on the country side and it is in a quiet area.

    Nice pool inside.Beds ok.

Not uppdated. A bit worn down. Old furniture. Papercups in room instead of normal glasses .They were renovating the roof so you could not see the beautiful house. But will be great when they are done. We just arrived in the middle of the renovation. Some time it needs to be done.

The hotel is located in an interesting old building with halls like in a museum. Quiet and calm place. Good swimming pool.

Uncomfortable shower and non-working towel dryer.

Friendly staff in reception. Also good in restaurant. Liked the focus throughout on environment.

    7DarrenPosted on: 5-5-2025

It has a lovely pool and sauna.

It’s a bit passed its shelf life, rooms need an upgrade, most woodwork, doors, frames, bathroom fixings are old and worn.

Very special old quest house that has history of being Inn or Roadsine Inn since 1610. Its pretty late medieval looks outside and inside some common rooms look like Vicrorian style. Rooms are pretty late 2000 century bit old and shappy. Also shower system would need to be fixed there is no Water Power almost at all in showers which is pretty funny as being in Scandinavia. In Finland we use extra water pumps which provide power for all housings in Finland. So its funny that this level bathhouse style Inn does not have them...;). I remember I visited here about 2 years ago and it had same problem ans has still...That gives minus to numbers I give. Breakfast is good and had even snaps for aperative and rooms often comes with complimentary Wine Bottles which is nice...Its worth to visit and experience...But please next time K come FIX THE WATER PROBLEM!

Water power is Poor in showers really poor...almost "medieval"...

The property was very unique with lots of interesting things to see, good parking, sauna and pool, we ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent ! Very good value for money

Rooms are a bit dated but this is to be expected due to the age.

We refused the breakfast as the place was so dirty. The standard of room was less than 1*Not close two floors apart request ignored. Was necessary for disability to be next to each therefore forced to share a room time they’d refund but in the morning the reception was nasty and said it was our decision Yes the carpets stained dreadful cracked tiles filthy shower and toilet all stained towels dirty bed was old one lumpy The pool had scum around the edge and was cold not heated the stairs at entrance were very dangerous. Crazy paved! It was old tired and filthy with very rude staff the hotel is opposite a factory dreadful views Very upsetting. Booking .com said they’d return the fees and heard no further!!!’n

A true description of the 1* hotel not 4*. How ridiculous The sheets were thread bare the bathroom stink and was filthy tiles cracked stains on the table tops and the carpets Refused to take breakfast due to the state of the premisesThe pool was unfit for swimming

Nothing..if there is something, it's the photo on booking of the main building

What a bad experience we had at our stay in this hotel. Old muffy rooms. Looks like the 70s. Not maintained. Very noisy (some pump of the swimming pool) ?Getting an other room in the basement at 10.30 pm. Main light in the room didn't work. Again that muffy old smell.Four stars on booking?? What a joke. This is not even worth one star.

If you want the feeling of an old fashion inn you’re in the right place. However the place is worn out and could really do with a thorough restauration .

The joints between the bathroom tiles seem moldy and the beds were hard as rocks. The food we had in the restaurant was not worth the price. The meat was dry and the potatoes burnt.

Nice swimming pool and sauna. The restaurant was very good!

We had to change the bed linen because it was dirty.
