    Pros +

    • The staff was so nice. Located directly above a pub. Great location easily accessible to public transportation.
    • The room was more spacious than i expected, and the shared bathrooms were clean and nice. the staff were very friendly and hospitable.
    • The room met our expectations and it was a very good ratio of value for money for London. Added benefit was that there is a bar on the ground floor of the building open until midnight. Hotel is close to a train station from which you can get into the city center relatively fast.

    Cons -

    • Rooms were quite warm as we were there during the hot summer months.
    • For the value, I would have expected a bed and breakfast deal, especially since it wasn't ensuite and was a shared bathroom, but I understand that the bar/kitchen isn't open in the morning.
    • The shared bathroom was pretty small but always clean and stocked

Being able to get into the rooms whenever we wanted to which was very helpful as we were attending a gig at the O2

Three of us visited for a concert in the O2. This place was ideal as it was affordable and within walking distance of the venue. Even though we arrived at almost midnight due to a delayed flight we were able to check in at the pub downstairs with no hassle whatsoever. The beds were comfortable and the sink in the room was handy. Would recommend if you're going to a concert.

The shared bathroom was pretty small but always clean and stocked

Bit old and run down but did the job!

booked this for a concert at the o2 but taking a bolt or uber doesn’t really work here - there’s not many of them operating here

looking the rooms was a bit unsafe, it was my own fault for not reading the amenities carefully but there was only a communal shower and toilet and no elevator

The staff here pleasant and helpful room was adequate and clean

could have a/c this time of the all though fan was supplied

The view from my room. The customer service. The proximity to transport.

Great place to stay on a budget in a central location in London with a friendly staff. Well connected using public transportation.

Lovely helpful staff, tired building and rooms but it was very clean. For the price it is very reasonable and the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help on a very busy and stressful morning of the London marathon.

Beakfast was an additional charge and was very poor quality so we didn't eat it.The electrics went off in the whole building in the morning so I couldn't have a shower or charge my phone before the London marathon.

    4TrinidadPosted on: 4-27-2025

    There's a pub!and the staff are nice.

No power at the moment!and we need to prepare early for the marathon.

Room basic but comfortable. Convenient to where I was visiting, transport links were good. On a main road but I had a room on the side which was quite quiet. Amazing view of docklands with all the skyscrapers. Had a shared toilet and shower but never saw any other guests and shower had plenty of hot water

It was a good place for a night or two, I was there midweek so pub was quite quiet but could be busy at weekends and check in is in the pub. I did leave through a side door so that is better as bar could be crowded

    all was great

The location is easy if you go to the O2 there is a direct bus 422 to North Greenwich to the O2. To go to Greenwich you can get bus 286 to Cutty Sark. The bus takes about 10 mins and is really easy. The Angerstein is an old pub so you can get a drink there. There are left luggage facilities.

There are quite a lot of steps to the rooms . No lift. The rooms have shared shower and toilet . I would have preferred en suite.

    7SimonePosted on: 3-31-2025

The staff were lovely and helpful. The booking in process took 25+mins due to going round in circles with technology. The main door for guests to access the building needs to be updated as a matter of safety. There is a ‘knack’ to opening it with the key (a staff member showed us) this was difficult and awkward and took time. Which was scary when retuning at night (alone ,with my teenage daughter) there were drunk men arguing feet away from us and I struggled to open the door ! There are cameras around the door and building. The mattress was old and bumpy. The WiFi does not work. The room, bathroom and linen were very clean. Good location for 02 Arena, only 10mins uber.

    5LauraPosted on: 3-30-2025

It was up three flights of stairs. 3 single beds in one normal size bedroom. Only electric lamps, so not much light. The toilet and shower you couldn't move in it as so small. We didn't use the shower because I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom, my son flushed the toilet and stuff came up the plug in the shower.

Very friendly team, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Ideal location for The O2 just a 30 minute walk away.Would happily stay again.
