Food and the nice room
The noise coming from the staff in the bar at 1am on a Wednesday night
Quiet location, beautiful terrace for drinks and lunch. Very comfortable room. Excellent food and drinks.
Rather fierce noisy bathroom fan!
Hotel is well appointed. Room was large and well equipped. Staff efficient and friendly.
It’s the restaurant. It’s one star Michelin so we expected it to be very good. The menu was very short and disappointing. The food was well cooked but not very exciting. The wine options were far too expensive. Dinner for two, with drinks, cost over £300 which was poor value.
It was a lovely location. We enjoyed the breakfast but my husband was disappointed with the scrambled eggs.
FOOD GREAT ATTENTIVE STAFF SCRABBLE BOARD IN ROOM!
Beautiful property well maintained and attention to detail.
Don’t know if we experienced a bad night/morning but the restaurant service was not great. Slow, order mix ups and confusion and long waits whilst others who came in later were served and received their meals. Food was excellent just the service let it down unfortunately.
Incredible service with friendly staff. Fantastic location, very clean, great parking. Restaurant made some of the best food we ever had. Large rooms. Comfortable bed. Lovely gardens.
Everything was perfect.

Very grand hotel, our room was large and felt luxurious. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Area surrounding hotel is very beautiful and the hotel had suggestions on walks you could do straight from the hotel.
Nothing - loved our stay!
Prefer room on first floor, but had not specified as booked via Booking.com rather than direct. The orange dessert was simply amazing - an outstanding culinary memory perfectly matched by the recommended wine.
