Village Hotel Liverpool

Absolutely gorgeous staff, lots of interesting places within easy reach, nice pub in the building, the best mattresses for a really restful sleep.

No particular dislikes.

The room was nice , but noise kept me awake , I don’t know if it was where the room was located , but I could hear people comingand going all night , banging , lift going up and down , large banging above the room , don’t know what it was kept me awake

Noise levels

Excellent service from the staff. We booked the stay as we were attending the Zippo Collectors meeting on the 27/4. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The food and drink vouchers we prepaid are a great way to make it simple to keep track of our spending. Venue was wonderful and everyone who attended said what a fabulous time they had. Our grateful thanks to Andy and Chloe for going the extra mile and making us laugh!!

Cant think of a thing to be honest. Everything went to plan and we will be back next year.

Everything was awful the staff were very nasty they made us feel uncomfortable unliked and unwelcome. My disabled partner is partially deaf and they were constantly asking him to keep the noice down

Hotel location was perfect. Front of house was clean

Rooms are none smoking and yet I opened the door to the overpowering smell of smoke . When opening the window I could clearly see the old cigarette stubs on the room in front of me . How could the cleaning staff sigh this room off as clean when it was obviously not up to standard. The room above me . Was noisy. Loud conversations on his phone until 2-30 am only once did anyone go up and tell him to keep the noise down . Hardly a good night’s sleep and I’m sure i wasn’t the one

Hotel was good , staff lovely . Family room not the greatest the second bed was just a very uncomfortable pull out bed. Needs a little updating.

Lovely staff, nothing was too much of a problem. Bed very comfortable, quiet at night. Great for a one night stay.

Bathroom could do with a bit of a refurb!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and location convenient.Soundproofing was terrible! I have no idea who was staying next door but I know their views on all of Aston Villas players. Ruined a Sunday morning lie in.

The bed was so uncomfortable, I was up with neck pain most the night.

Staff really friendly and helpful... bet polite also... had a amazing night sleep so paid for extra night with late checkout

I liked the bar and location. The receptionist Abby was very happy to help, really made a difference to our stay.

The rooms were very dated. No plug sockets next to the bed.

Stayed in 3 different rooms over 8 days, only 1 bath towel for 2 people.

Dirty towels uncomfortable beds , room service was a rip off , very old fashioned need some tlc no hairdryer in room

Breakfast was not good - I do not like very fatty streaky cheap bacon and bread type cheap catering sausage .The scramb led egg was not good either was this Powdered egg ?

Close to motorway. Very comfortable bed. Big room.

I didn’t like the fact I found a used condom insert the bed from the last guest that stayed this should of been cleaned up before any other guest stays in that room

Location to get into Liverpool as was able to catch the train and didn’t have to drive snd find somewhere to park.

Food ordered not available and sofa in bar was dirty and done areas require some refurbishment

Very well organised and helpful. Comfortable large bedroom.

We thought that the bar snacks were extremely over priced. £7 for chips !!!!!!
