Gwbert Hotel

The hotel is great, they offer a continental breakfast buffet and you order your full English breakfast so there is no danger of leaving breakfast hungry.The view from the restaurant and lounge were amazing and overlooked the sea in front of the hotel.The entire stay was very nice and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to that area.

Beautiful hotel. It was a great get away, near the sea. The restaurant had an excellent dinner and the breakfast, which was included with the stay, was amazing. Would return, and hopefully will.

That we won’t be around for the Christmas celebrations, they sound exciting.

View, breakfast, staff, bar area,rooms were all great, overall the hotel is very good quality

Lovely location, good views. Very good breakfast although the seating was a little cramped

We had a problems with our room which was affected by the noise from kitchen fan from 7am to 9am & 5pm to 9.30pm we didn't get any sleep the first night. We were eventually moved to another room which was fine but not until we contacted Booking.com if it hadn't have been for them I think we would have left!! . The staff were not very concerned at all about the situation and suggested the fan would not come on till 7.30am & off at 9pm which was of no help at all, they need to brush up on their customer service very bad. Sorry to put such a bad review but I think it needed to be said.

Great stay. We only stayed one night on a road trip through Wales. The hotel is nicely located looking out over the estuary and the sea. Close to some nice hikes and secluded beaches. Golf course close by. The town of Cardigan is close but you will need the car.We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which is situated at the front with a view, ask for a window table if available. Staff was friendly, a bit unexperienced (holiday period and some young people serving the restaurant), but we got good food and a fast service.The restaurant also serves the breakfast in the morning. This is well organized and fresh cooked. wide choice of options for the fresh cooked breakfast and a small buffet for cereal and fruits.Rooms are nice and beds are good. We had a room on the back but you can have rooms with a view for those spending time looking out the window in the hotel room. the lift rather small and slow and the stairs can be a bit confusing the first times. It add to the charm for me.

The view from our room was lovely.

The ability to find our room easily was ridiculous; it took us about 10 minutes to figure out how to get there.. We went up the elevator, then had to go up & down steps & through several doors (with MANY doors & halls to choose from). We should have been escorted.Also, the front desk had complete control over the heat -- or lack thereof -- in our room. We had to call down to ask them to turn it up.Lastly, the bed & pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

Friendliness of staff! Wonderful breakfast! Fantastic sea view room! Even had a fan for air circulation in the room! Which was the only place out of five that we stayed in to do this small yet very nice thing for its guests.

We only stayed one night. We would've loved to have stayed longer!

The specials in the restaurant were great on the first night, but the choice reduced daily and the dessert specials disappeared altogether on our last night!!

It was a great short break for us. Friendly staff, easy parking, nice rooms, good food and a great location with impressive views. Originally from West Wales, we were visiting family in the area and will definitely be returning to this lovely hotel.

Every aspect of the Property. Staff, decor, breakfast were 1st class. The view over the Estuary sneaks for itself. We last stayed here in 2019 and it was as a real pleasure to return.

The breakfast was excellent as was dinner and the view from our room was lovely.

Arrived at 15:00 and wasn’t able to purchase food. ( kitchen closed at 14:30)

cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely and fresh. Good selection of cereals, teas and coffee (though no croissants/pastry or fruit). The view was spectacular from our room and from the dining room. Lovely roomy terrace to sit outside and have a drink while watching the view.

The room was a little hot when it was sunny. Would have liked a little more choice on the dinner menu, though the food was lovely.

The location is amazing which overlooks the bay in Cardigan. Room was comfortable and clean.

Room was smaller than pictured in the photos and there was a delay in checking in/out due to no staff at reception. Didn’t have to wait long and I am knit picking a little, when a receptionist was found they were polite and informative.

Faultless. Staff polite , friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very nice. Dinner in restaurant very good quality and at a very reasonable price . Room nice and clean and well thought out with a bonus sea view.

The food was ok but not great.

Nice position and views, love,y bed and shower, for us, the food quantity was too large, but very good in quality. We did compromise by having a starter and dessert!

Sink had a crack in it, reported to reception.We booked an Executive room, we felt that the room seemed a bit small with not enough space for clothing etc, to reflect an executive status. It was nice having a bay window with seats.

We've stayed here one per month for the last several months. Brilliant staff always tend to our needs. Very comfortable rooms and excellent food. Always love the view.
