new pricing policy - paid different rates for the same room on two consecutive nights despite pre-booked on-line as is now apparently mandatory - website is misleading!!

Quiet and clesn

Little difficult to get to room with heavy bags had to go up and down stairs

Good size room.

The lighting in the room was not bright enough. And the TV came on by itself in the mornings. No atmosphere in ybar and dining room.

Pleasant staff , clean room. .

Extra charge for swimming pool and extra charge for hiring towels for the pool ( I don't mind the extra charges as much just couldn't remember reading about these in advance so maybe that needs to be a little clearer so budgets can be adjusted ) also if menu could be available for breakfast and meal times with prices in the room .

The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is a great design with comfortable seating and great food.

The room was a pleasant surprise, big comfortable bed, largest tv we've seen in an hotel room for a long time and jacuzzi bath in the bathroom.

Location was perfect.

Was not told we could use leisure facilities at a reduced price so paid the full amount for swimming. I thought the swimming was free

Pool was nice and warm and sauna and steam room were excellent

Both rooms weren’t ready on arrival and had to reallocate rooms. Our original rooms were still occupied Two towels out of the 4 were dirty on arrivalWasn’t made aware we had to pay extra for swimming etc

How close it was to the raceway Quick and easy check in and check out

Showers had no temp control, beds hard as well as pillows fire alarm going of at half 7

The staff were so friendly and welcoming gave out choclates to all the women on mothersday

The whole experience was excellent. All staff,without exception, were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is lovely and well kept. Leisure facilities were good and the food was delicious. Would definately return.

Water was not hot enough in the morning

It's a great hotel situated in a great lovely place not far from the beach where we could see the seals swimming. It's not far from the town center of peterhead it's self. The breakfast was absolutely amazing great friendly staff and always pleased to help with anything it's clean tidy and got its own private car park ?️

Just back from my fifth stay at The Waterside Hotel.?As always, everything fabulous from from arrival to departure.?

There is absolutely nothing I don’t like about this property, hence multiple visits already, and more planned throughout this year. ?Food and accommodation wonderful, and great value for money.? Buffet breakfast is always freshly made, plentiful, and topped up regularly. ?Compliments to the Chef, and restaurant staff, who go above and beyond for guests. ?James is a very “hands on”, personable, and hard working Manager.? Nothing is a problem, and he is very fortunate to have an obviously contented and happy Workforce, working under his guidance and care. ?Rooms very clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, (fan provided), crisp bed linen, and the tea and coffee making facilities have something for everyone, with further supplies available at a table on the reception area.?Gardens and outside space beautiful and well kept, compliments to the gardener.?Swimming pool, gym, weights room, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all clean and well maintained, and a very welcome addition.?

Evening meal and breakfast were fine. Enjoyable.

Apparently there were no lifts. Toting suitcases up the stairs was not good.

Is big rooms, everything is nice

I booked this hotel only because of spa zone, but everything were closed and no one get to me to inform about issues, so I was frustrated

The room was spacious and fairly modern. Big tv, coffee machine, and fridge in our room.

We booked this hotel to specifically use the pool. When we got there, there was a note on the door saying the pool was closed. No prior notice to let us know.I also asked if they had a gluten-free breakfast option but didn't get any response, and the reception staff didn't seem to care if they did or not!We had to go find the bar staff to order a drink and waited over an hour to order our 2nd.We didn't sleep well. The beds are pretty hard, and there was a knocking noise from the pipes during the night.Thankfully, we only stayed the one night.

Breakfast ran out with the hot food until we were ready to leave the the restaurant next day was better

Bathroom dirty grout between tiles, also broken mirror in bathroom

Good location, plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are quite dated and could do with a revamp. Bed wasn’t the best. Booked breakfast for 08:30 but the buffet was running empty and not the best quality.
