Rooms very well done, modern and plenty light in them

Maybe a firmer bed, but that’s a personal choice

Lovely room, the staff were friendly and helpful; the food was tasty.

A wee bit out of Fraserburgh, but not a big deal.

Price was good the location was close to our destination Fraserburgh. Our family history related back to Fraserburgh. Most interesting was the history of the graveyards dating back to 1500.

The property was very easy to find with a very welcoming host at the end of a long drive. The room was excellent on the ground floor. Very clean, spacious and tidy. It has the added bonus of doors opening onto a patio and garden, perfect to allow our dog out without having to go out via reception. It was perfect for our 1 night stay on route to Shetland.

Though this was confirmed on booking website it hadn't been confirmed at the ban car, there was rooms available, but it could of been an issue, also great breakfast apart from what we thought was very cheap sausages?, there is great butchers in Fraserburgh .

I enjoy the welcome, the food, feeling safe travelling alone away from home all week. I like staying out at Lonmay it is worth the 5 miles from Fraserburgh away from the early morning noise of seagulls that I have experienced with staying in Fraserburgh itself. There is a lot to be said about the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.

I have nothing to mention on this part I am more than happy with the hotel, the staff and the food and the rooms are spacious and comfortable

Location. Staff are always helpful and attentive. The hotel is always spotlessly clean. Food for breakfasts and evening meals always great and tasty. Highly recommend Ban Car hotel having stayed here many times before.

I always stay here when working in Fraserburgh. It's not that far. You will always get a lovely welcome when you arrive, the meals and service are excellent, because it's in the country your will sleep well. Lovely variety at breakfast.

Stayed a couple of times before. Room, service and food are always great. All the staff are helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the great standards.

Staff very welcoming, gave us a ground floor room due to my husband having sciatica, without hesitation. Had a lovely meal in the evening, was reasonably priced. Room was a nice size and comfortable.

We have stayed here numerous times and the hosts are always friendly and run a lovely clean and hospitable hotel

Good location to Fraserburgh beach and town centre and also to Willows animal sanctuary which was the purpose of our overnight stay

We brought our wee dog and having the ground floor with French doors to let the dog out was excellent

Handy enough for Fraserburgh Golf Club

The room was cramped and the shower was tiny. The food was mediocre. I didn't like the fact that I'd pre booked two single rooms at £40 per night but my friend was charged £72 per night. It meant a return trip to the hotel to get the £64 refunded.

It was good just a normal standard . Easy access to get there by car .

This was a fantastic hotel and I cannot fault anything.The staff were super friendly and helpful, my room was a lovely size and very clean and comfortable. I really liked the homely feel I felt from the hotel and the room itself.
