I enjoyed my stay room clean and tidy serviced well, all staff friendly and very helpful nothing to much to ask food was very good and filling I would definately recomend it to my friends.

The staff was welcoming very quiet and very friendly pub underneath and we had a lovely sleep

The hotel staff was very friendly and cheerful. The restaurant had a nice evening program for locals.

The rooms were very uncomfortable. It was extremely noisy, which meant I only got a short night's sleep. There was no pressure in the shower, and the water that came out was so hot that I couldn't take a shower. The sink had two taps: one for cold water and one for hot water, which meant the water was either very cold or very hot — it couldn't be mixed.

I would like to give Mollie a mention when we arrived she was very welcoming and told us a few places around the area which was good places to get food and gave us all the information we needed for our stay and a pleasant presence and a great start to our trip after travelling for 6 hours from the south! It was just what we needed, we where down for a wedding and ut was close to both venues for us and we got it for a good deal! The place was clean and was nice to have the luxury of a bath coming from an Apartment (this was a bug win for me personally!) The area seemed quiet which is something we love being introverts and you didn't get any of the noise from the pub again another big win for us!

We where concerned about the holes in the floor near the bed in room 4, although covered with carpet and we are pretty observant of the holes my partner who has ADHD forgot and did trip in this hole by the bed on the right (when facing the bed) so we have concerns if someone was a drunk or harder of sight. Another issue we had was that our room was right by the bins and this did give off an unpleasant smell in the evening when food/bins taken out and therefore did have to leave the windos closed unfortunately but this wasn't too bad as the nights where a bit cooler.

Comfortable bed. Big tv. Good Internet.

Shower was cold I believe there's a problem with the boiler system

the room smelt musty when we walked in, later in the evening after using the toilet there was water coming out from behind the toilet and running towards the bathroom door and the carpet was damp where the water was running into it.....Room 16Shower was freezing at first and then was so hot we couldn't use it, I was scared we would end up with 3rd degree burns and the regulator didn't work so could only have a wash in the sink.....very disappointing.

Rooms are functional, they are fine. Value for money accommodation.Resturaun, which is also bar area if fine, no issues at all.Always very pleasant staff.

Breakfast is always very slow and late to start. Better from 06:30.

Great location for what we were there for. The stand out thing for us was the staff. Can’t give them enough praise, they were exceptional. Especially Chris and Elliot, made friends forever with them.

Nice room. Stayed here as was travelling quite a distance. Nice hotel, separate entrance to the pub. Room was clean, comfortable. Was given a king room rather than double that we had paid for, added bonus. Very friendly staff (don’t recall his name).

Pillows were not the best, but did the job for the night

Staff are super friendly and helpful, always make you feel welcome.Food is really nice, great choice and tasty.Loved the evenings entertainment, smartphone quiz night so much fun.

Rooms and bar area very tired, needs a refurb. Shower, hot water takes far to long to come through hot. A socket in the bedroom the front was coming off, thick dust onto of area to hang clothes, my jumper ended up full of thick dust. Online it says has sky sports, however when there we was told it had been taken out.

Loved that booking in is quick and easy, very friendly staff. The room very clean and comfortable, and very quiet with minimal corridor noise despite there being a few staying.Brilliant that the restaurant is very good for day meals and breakfast

I booked this accommodation. At last minute having been let down by Booking Rooms. COM.on another property in Pontefract which was disgusting to say the least. And won't give a full refund.

Staff were welcoming and it was super close to an event we were attending.

Although the room was clean there is a strong small of damp throughout the hotel and the breakfast in the morning was slightly under cooked.
