Hall Park Hotel self check in

2nd visit - super friendly staff and owner. Will most definitely stay again if in the area. Very welcoming friendly bar and an excellent breakfast. Hotel is older but well maintained and very clean.

The staff where really pleasant and helpful on arrival, the room was well presented and tidy. We were served breakfast in the morning which was absolutely delicious.

Staff were exceptional. Great breakfast and great friendly bar. Lots of locals with local knowledge and recommendations Paul and staff were very helpful. Excellent location, close to all town facilities.

All good

Lovely room, big windows and lots of light! Very comfortable and lots of space. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and varied, which was fab. I was able to park at the property to avoid disc charges, which was a relief as it’s a confusing system! My stay was easy, comfortable and relaxing. Thank you!

My only niggles were that the bath looked like it needed a bit of tlc (just a touch up on sealant, nothing major) and I couldn’t work out how to adjust the main blinds in the bedroom; I could open and close them, but could not rotate them to maintain some privacy while still letting light in!

Very big , clean nice room . Breakfast was delicious, staff so helpful and friendly. We ordered dinner on Friday- was so delicious !Hotel is walking 5 minutes from high street. Thanks a lot for your lovely service !

Lovely little place excellent service breakfast was fantastic and location was perfect will be back

Comfortable exceptionally clean tastefully decorated excellent location good value for money - gorgeous full cooked breakfast and friendly staff

Very welcoming , breakfast was really tasty and good quantities, location was ideal for our needs.

Clean but dusty and a little tired.

Clean , comfortable & excellent location

Room 14 is an amazing good size and you have your own patio area which was great for the dog the beds where very comfortable and you have tea/coffee facility in your room. The bathroom was a good size with a nice shower.

We ate in the bar, when going to order drinks we waited a good 10 mins b4 even getting served there was no staff in sight. We ordered our food starter and main baring in mind there was only us and 2 other people eating we waited 35 mins for garlic mushrooms. Then our mains came my husband food was amazing the gammon was beautiful I got the lasagane the lady came to ask if everything was okay with our food I said I didn't like the lasagane she replied what do mean that's our best seller! I replied personally I don't like it its undercooked and full of red pepper. She screwed up her face and took it away! Her attitude totally put me off me meal so I didn't end up eating anything g else that was on my plate, I went to the bar to get drinks whislt my husband went to our room the dog some bits off our plates to be confronted by a man he had an awful attitude, I got drinks and walks bk to my room with him shouting and carrying on asking us to leave his f@@king hotel as we weren't welcome coz we complained about his food.he squared up to my husband involving other hotel guests at this point we just closed the door. The electric appliances are not PAT tested in your room.We waited a good half hour b4 returning to the bar area to get some more drinks in hoping that he calmed down I went and spoke to the man an explained that he needed to be able to take complaints in order to provide better service. We sat and had a drink and felt totally unwelcome as horse racing was on the TV and the owner was sat with his mates when asking another drink it was like it was an inconvenience to him.

Food was great and staff were very friendly (even offered to give me a lift to the train station free of charge)..

Lovely clean comfortable room and very spacious the owner and staff were so helpful and friendly even to the owner taking us in his car to our party I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and will definitely return

I wouldn’t change thing

Very clean.Very friendly staff.Excellent food.Super location.

Staff friendly, excellent breakfast, nice food and bar, cozy room and facilities.

Very good value for a one night stay. Extremely convenient self-check in following late arrival. Good breakfast freshly prepared. Thanks.

Good sized room. Well appointed and large bathroom.

It was a little cold as the heating wasn't on, but there were some oil fired radiators which when I worked out which socket was working soon heated the room up.

Central, very clean and tidy. Staff were amazing. Great atmosphere in the wee pub downstairs and breakfast was incredible!

Convenient location with parking onsite. Very nice pub in the facility. All staff we met were welcoming and helpful!

The breakfast was excellent and the location was convenient for where we were working. Parking at the hotel is limited but we had no problem parking on the street opposite

Second visit and still high standard and value for money. Very comfortable clean room and great breakfast

Only issue is no fresh coffee.
