    • Some amenities are old.

The location , even thou its near a busy road the traffic did not effect our sleep , the staff where fabulous , could not do enough for us, breakfast good , very clean . Would book again.

Beautiful location, all the staff were exceptionally helpful, the room was beautiful and clean. The food was fantastic too, HUGE portions!

The mattress was slightly too firm for me but that is personal preference!

Really cosy, great views and the breakfast was delicious!! Staff also really attentive and polite.

The rooms are road facing and single glazed so very loud on a rainy day, but not an issue overnight.

The property location was perfect for the fell walking I had planned. The staff were all amazing and so friendly. Warm comfy rooms despite it being minus figures outside, absolutely lovely decor. I will definitely be back.

Great location for visiting the surrounding area. Grasmere and Keswick are both short drives away. There is a beautiful walk around the reservoir which is close by ( 10 mile walk ). The room was comfortable, warm and very clean . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food served in the restaurant is excellent and breakfast definitely doesn’t disappoint. Great place!

The rooms are a bit on the small size.

Great food and great staff, with a lovely location.

Bed was a little bit uncomfortable and there was no heating on the ensuite, which was very cold. The rest of the room was lovely and warm with plenty of storage space.
