Gwesty Gadlys Hotel

The staff were amazing as I'd had an issue with the apartment I had booked in Cemaes. My room was booked at the very last minute but the staff made a real effort to ensure that my stay was comfortable which was much appreciated. It's a great hotel with a bar and restaurant.

Location was perfect, views were amazing and staff were lovely and really helpful

Room was very hot, we were able to turn this down however a very minor fault

The only thing for me that let it down was the breakfast. A lovely selection of cooked items but two thirds of it were stone cold . Beans , mushrooms, black pudding and tomatoes hardly cooked . My partner wanted to say something but the waiter was extremely busy and I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of other guests

All the food was nicely done from breakfast to evening meal and the staff was so helpful and pleasant we have been there for meals before but first time stay

Location was great, lovely views across Cemaes Bay. We ate in the restaurant and had burgers which were lovely. No issues with food or staff

We were in room 7 and while the room the was fine it was right above the kitchen. Really noisy at night with music being played in the kitchen till quite late. Then noisy in the morning as they were preparing for breakfast

The room had a really unpleasant smell from from the sewage drains.

I cannot fault this hotel. Beautiful location, lovely staff, cosy comfortable rooms and an amazing restaurant.

I loved staying here!! It was very comfortable, had very generous coffee/tea/hot chocolate makings in the room, very nice shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower, very comfy bed, and beautiful views. The towels were large, thick and luxurious, what a nice surprise!! Breakfast was delicious and generous, the staff was very nice and friendly. I really enjoyed staying in this lovely place.

Room (7) was above the kitchen, a little noisy until food service was over, did not spoil our stay at all though.

The location is perfect for us.

The noise from the kitchens and fans outside the window. The room was extremely hot, we could have opened the window but it was noisy already and didn’t want to add to the noise. They do supply a fan in the room.

Lovely hotel in fantastic location! Good onsite bar and restaurant, serving delicious meals. Very attentive staff.

We were staying for the second time and enjoyed it as much as before. We were a family of 4 in a family room and found it comfortable and perfect for our requirements. Location is fab for walking and we will definitely return again.

I would appreciate better toiletries in the bathroom as there is no bubble bath. Other than that no complaints!

Lovely setting, the hotel was lovely and clean.The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

The noise from other rooms.

Check in was easy, staff were polite. Breakfast was served hot and the bathroom was great with a powerful shower and lots of nice thick towels.

The breakfast room was freezing cold when I went for my breakfast (which was an agreed/allotted time). The extractor fan in my bathroom clattered all night as a result of high winds outside. The room was a little dated and no two pillows were alike on the bed.

Room 8 is noisy! It’s above the kitchen and late evening they empty bottles etc into the skip below the room!!!! The staff can be heard shouting and banging in the kitchen too!

Delicious food both at breakfast and dinner. Lovely location just outside Cemaes Bay and short walk to gorgeous mediaeval chapel of LLanpadrig. All staff were extremely welcoming and professional.

Our room was a little hot (October) even when radiators off. Took sometime to work out how to reduce the temperature on the shower... perhaps written warning about how hot shower gets. Need advice about using shower with caution due to very hot water.
