Pros +
- Food Excellent - great breakfast and evening meal. Service very good. Lovely hot tub. Fantastic sun rise from the foyer.Great location for the ferry to Oban.
- Views. Relaxing. Amazing Food. Fantastic service.
- The location and the view are incredible and every staff person was so kind, welcoming and helpful!
Cons -
- Our room was cold due to single glazing and the heater not working 100%. I would advise to sit away from the window in the dining room as its warmer. Swimming pool wasn't the warmest, just made to swim quicker. Would stay again.
- Short staffed, felt bad for the 2 folks working day and night serving drinks and food, they were brilliant. Owners of this place really need to get some help in. Gave them a tip at the end as they were running about trying to serve full bar and 10 tables between the two of them only. Everyone felt for them.
- This hotel made several poor management choices. First, there is no bartender on staff. You do not learn this until you attempt to order a cocktail… from the provided menu. This remained the case for our entire stay. Next, the dining room is severely understaffed. One morning at breakfast we literally had to leave after an hour of waiting for coffee and for someone to take our order for the kitchen. Lastly, you do not learn until you arrive that the hot tub requires a scheduled appointment (why?). I scheduled an appointment, and learned only when I arrived for the appointment that the hot tub was closed for nearly 24 hours for maintenance. I did not get to enjoy the hot tub during our three day stay. Again, just to reiterate- the staff was mostly great. This hotel has plenty of potential, but needs management help.

It was clean and comfortable. Very cozy and the decorating was beautiful. The bar and restaurant staff were great.
Nearly every staff member we interacted with were very friendly, polite, and attentive.

Stunning hotel with fantastic facilities and fantastic food! Suites are beautiful and tasteful and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Great location, nice rooms, good view across bay. Restaurant staff were extremely friendly & the food was excellent. Dog friendly business that welcomed them
Slightly dated in some areas - lack of double glazing
Lovely location. Access to swimming pool and spa. Better to eat in the bar than the restaurant. Extremely friendly staff, always with a smile.
A little pricey, but worth it.
Good
Careful when considering how dog friendly this is, you are not allowed to use the restaurant, unless you leave your dog in your room. This means you are hunched over low down tables to eat quite expensive, but very nice, food. Quite odd given the inclusion of dog friendly packs and focus on the website. Staff on the bar and restaurant seemed very chaotic and disorganised, slow service and a bit rude
Room is very comfortable and well renovated.
The restaurant was over priced
Room was lovely and cosy, with tasteful decor, and tasty treats!
Location, room and staff were all great
Swimming pool was out of order due to a boiler issue so unable to make use of all the facilities. TV in the room wasnt connected to internet so unable to relax watch Netflix etc
The hotel staff was helpful and very lovely to work with. The room was perfect for me and if I had someone with me would have been great! The spa was awesome and had a couple of trips there! The food was so good! Supper excellent! When I make it back to Scotland, I will be coming to stay at the Isle of Mull Spa and Hotel!
Very comfortable. The food was excellent, both dining and breakfast. Staff were excellent and attentive.
The decor looked a bit tired.
Well located in beautiful scenery
The restaurant was expensive but the food was average.
difficult to answer - there was a power cut so no cooked breakfast availableother cold options were available
the hotel was fine - the power cut stopped us enjoying a cooked breakfast and also meant that the spa / swimming pool was not available (the pool was one reason for booking the hotel in the first place)
Comfy beds, great view, outdoor jacuzzi under the stars, delicious food
Excellent from moment we arrived, professional, helpful staff, easy parking, beds comfortable - great experience
Nothing that we didn't like
Amazing location.Very friendly staff.New manager, Muigel was very good.Entrance lobby very warm and welcoming.Could see dolphins from our hotel room on the first/ground floorPool was good size
Shame there are no lifts. My MIL struggled slightly due to her artheritis.Ground level/lowest level rooms smelt a bit damp.Swimming pool changing rooms could be better designed with some private showering facilities
The room was lovely. Bed comfortable. We arrived late, as we were cycled from Tobermory via B8073 & B8035 (long very scenic route), so missed the dinner booking but we had nice fish and chips in the bar area instead. The food and drinks were delayed, as I believe was due to an unexpected staff shortage. Breakfast was excellent.. plentiful, full Scottish and great view of Craignure harbour; staff ultra efficient. I got up early and used the swimming pool and sauna and both were fab. The attendant was very nice and helpful.Handy that the hotel is very close to the Oban ferry. The ferry was very good with good facilities and efficiently run.
Bicycle storage was limited so my wife and I had to use a lamppost to secure our bicycles. More semi circular storage hoops are needed so as to expand the bike parking. Ideally the bicycles should be stored in a secure building.
