    Pros +

    • The location and the room. Breakfast was amazing. Sometimes the staff seemed cranky. It’s very expensive and sometimes the food at dinner was just okay.
    • Beautiful property on the west highland walk. The old hotel is utterly charming with a nice restaurant and pub. The food was good. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was well done w lots of choice.
    • Location was perfect for hiking the WHW. Bar and restaurant for dinner and breakfast were good and convenient. A bit pricey but few other options.

    Cons -

    • Our “small double” had a full-sized mattress not a queen. And it wasn’t entirely comfortable to sleep on. I recommend upgrading to a slightly larger room. All in all, we got what we reserved so not a huge complaint.
    • Only had a late dinner reservation available and service was sluggish.
    • Bathroom/shower was tight for us, (my partner is 6'6", 275lbs), and a bad smell came up through the drain whenever the shower water was done draining. (We notified staff on check out as we were only staying one night)

The service of the staff was very good. The rooms are elegant and comfortable with great views and well stocked. The fact that you offer right at reception an hour for dinning, and take away lunch was phenomenal. Dinner was fantastic and the Venison Burger is delicious. The knowledge of Whisky from your bar tenders and staff is great. Thank you for making the end of my very wet day comfortable and enjoyable.

The dinner was great, (wonderful Cullen Skink!) as was the breakfast. The location to Bridge of Orchy and close drive to Glencoe was convenient. The room was a bit hot, (no a/c) but a fan was provided so they were prepared. The room facing the river was very peaceful. Beds were comfortable

Beautiful room! Great food in their restaurant!

Breakfast served a little later than we would have liked.

Our second stay this year. Very comfortable room, good food + friendly staff.

We had room 50 (the cottage). Fabulous suite by the river. The 2’ thick walls made this 100% quiet.

    All good

The Bridge of Orchy Hotel is a good stop if you’re walking the West Highland Way. It is immediately next to the path, has good views from the restaurant and the staff are friendly. Our room was in the main building and very clean.

The hotel was premium priced relative to our other stays along the WHW, but didn’t deliver a premium experience versus the others.

    Location and restaurant

Our double room in the main house was quite small and we didn't have a comfortable nights sleep.

The room was clean and very nice. The food was excellent. The staff were all so very helpful. One staff member in particular - Simao (not sure I've spelled it right) was super friendly, funny, and exceptional. He went out of his way to be helpful and had a wonderful positive energy.

Would have preferred to be in the main hotel instead of the annex.

The staff were lovely, breakfast was great. Bed was very comfortable

No wifi in the rooms and I was also cold in my room but the heater was not working. Wouldn’t say it was good value for money

This is a great hotel for those hiking the west highland way! The rooms were clear and comfortable and the staff were all nice and helpful. The restaurant onsite exceeded our expectations, the food was upscale and delicious (the mushroom lasagna was some of the best I've ever had).

The cordial staff really made the stay enjoyable and comfortable after a long hike. I really liked their restaurant. The room is very clean and the balconies are very nice. Very clean. Great location, 5min from train station.

Staff were very friendly. Rooms lovely, modern and clean. My son enjoyed his venison burger and I loved my beef burger. Full Scottish breakfast was also delicious.Great feed and stay during my son's walk of the whw.

    All good.... No negatives

The room was large and had a comfortable bed, and beautiful view. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom sink did have a leak that was unable to be fixed during my stay.

Great location. Beautiful room and I'm still thinking about the wonderful dinner!Really lovely staff.

The room was a bit more expensive that we had paid elsewhere.

What a wonderful hotel. Very clean, big rooms, great breakfast and very courteous staff. We needed a hotel between Oban and Edinburgh and this was perfect. Highly recommend it. Most hotels in Europe don't have body lotion, this one did :-) Hotel called us in the evening and asked if we needed dinner, that was just super nice! We didn't need it as we had dinner in Oban but the gesture was great!

On the W. Highland Way it's one of the only places available in the area. It was very comfortable and clean. The reception was really very sweet. The restaurant at the hotel was great a little pricey, but it was a very good meal. All in all the experience was quite pleasant.

A bit pricey and I know the water is the greatest in Scotland, but it was a little bit brown, and I didn't use it for drinking water

Lovely area, so close to west highland way path!

No A.C. Was an unusually hot day for Scotland and our room was 33 degrees. Opened all doors and had fan on but was still very hot at night.
