- Large comfy room overlooking the sea. The dinner was exceptionally tasty with good options for drinks.
Cons -
- Only the tiniest of niggles with the door to the room rattling every time someone enters or exits the building. The first time it happened, I thought someone was trying to get in!
- Our shower was a bit broken and i had to wrestle with it to keep the doors on.
- I have nothing negative to say about the stay.

Large comfy room overlooking the sea. The dinner was exceptionally tasty with good options for drinks.
It’s an adventure to get here, in late autumn, but worth the drive. The Inn is warm and welcoming and I appreciated the view of the loch from my window. Best towels. Cleanly and fluffy! Very comfortable bed. Easy access to meals. Swabs for room access worked well. Appreciated the understanding of dietaries.

Loved the colour choices, style, location and coziness.
Our shower was a bit broken and i had to wrestle with it to keep the doors on.
What a lovely find, situated right by a Loch with the friendliest staff. The room was so well furnished and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in.There is a small local shop nearby and the attached Inn has a wonderful atmosphere.
I have nothing negative to say about the stay.
Amazing staff, location, flexibility, quality
Just a few more cheeses, cold cuts and or additional items for breakfast would have been great! All in all - a top place with awesome food and the staff are second to none!
Fabulous views great dinners lovely staff
Expensive but that’s inflation!
Great stop over for Ffionphort Ferry to Iona.

I had a lovely stay at the Inn, as I knew I would! Can’t praise the staff enough. They work so hard, but always have a smile on their face and will go the extra mile for you. My room was perfect - clean, wonderful views, super comfortable bed - I really appreciated the sachets of oat milk provided alongside regular milk! I wish more hotels would think about offering that option. I was very happy with the room having no telly - I could relax properly with a book after hours of travels. Dinner was also excellent! It may look pricey but you get what you pay for, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The little store next door has been a firm favourite of mine since it first opened its door. Amazing quality products! I can’t wait to book another stay. :)
We had a wonderful nights stay at Inn at Port nan Gael, we had a lovely welcome, the room was so cosy, clean and comfortable. Just what we needed on a very wet night on Mull. The staff were so friendly, would definitely stay again.
The bed was comfortable, the staff were kind and helpful, and the food was quite good. Dogs were very welcome. The continental breakfast had classy individual elements. The inn served as a hub for the neighbouring campsite, and in that role it was very desirable and welcoming.
I was taken aback by the price. We spent £776 for a three night stay, and breakfast (£10 per person per day) was not included in this. However it seems that much accommodation on Mull is pricey, so perhaps I am an innocent in this matter.
Staff were excellent couldn't ask for more Rooms were very clean Fabulous atmosphere in the bar/dinning room Food was delicious Ideal location for travelling on the island And stunning views Thank you for a short but excellent stay
Mmmmmm......... struggling to find anything we didn't like Even the weather was kind to us
The staff were absolutely delightful, the bedroom was grand and the continental breakfast was good. The location was very pretty. The "pub grub was very tasty, generous portions and a handy well stocked shop next door
The ensuite was very dated and the breakfast was self service, no staff around at all. The rooms don't have good sound proofing and we were woken early by people moving around upstairs
Wonderful location, good atmosphere, friendly staff, nice rooms
Nothing. A bit expensive, but the Highlands are
The staff were great. I would say that the accommodation was excellent but a little expensive really especially as with not having breakfast £209 for one night is quite a lot.
there was nothing you didn’t really like . it was just a bit expensive.
Fantastic view of the sea from the hotel, plenty parking, friendly staff. Love the fact it has a wee grocery shop right next to it. It's a rural hotel so it's exactly what youd expect and more.Would stay here again if i ever visit the ilse of mull again.
Only thing i didnt like was the breakfast. The choice of pastrys and toast was good but the thing that let it down was the lack of variety of breakfast cerial.
Great location, with good facilities and amenities. There's a great pub/restaurant, shop and laundrette on site. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Very welcoming of walkers and dogs.
We loved the location. Delicious food. Self service Breakfast had everything you’d want. Cereals, Bread, Toaster, Pastries. Jams, milk butter in fridge.
First night dinner was great. Service & food. Second night we could hardly get served as well as couple next to us. Extremely long wait between given menu then ordering. Disappointing.
My room, room 7, was so beautiful with an ocean view. The staff are amazing, so kind, welcoming and helpful. The food is incredible! The setting is lovely and quiet.
