Saracens Head

Clean and tidy, staff were friendly and room was a decent size.

This inn was a great location when visiting Snowdon Park, the facilities were clean and there was a nice area for having a drink in the evening. We ate dinner here and although they were out of some of the items the food was very good. Free parking was a nice perk. The breakfast in the morning was cooked to order and exceptional.

Rooms are a little worn but good sized and comfortable.

Amazing place in the middle of Beddgelert. Huge room, very friendly staff, great big breakfast, nice bar downstairs, free parking. This place is wonderful. Stay here, you won't be sorry! Loved it. Wish I was back there now.

The property is beautifully maintained and charming. The room was spacious for two people and pristine. We enjoyed having the pub attached and breakfast was delicious .

The area was beautiful, easy to find the Saracens Head. Decor throughout was lovely and in good taste, big rooms. The internet worked extremely well there.

The staff service to check in, and to order breakfast the next day was slow. The breakfast food was average quality.

Lovely, helpful staff and beautiful, dog friendly room with a nice view. Quality furnishings. Good breakfast & dog made welcome too! The village is gorgeous & location is in the heart of the countryside.

Everything was very lovely - it was just rather more expensive than we usually pay for this type of room but we were booking fairly last minute & needed somewhere dog friendly so had limited choice. I would recommend this hotel other than the price....

Couldnt check in till after 3pm but we did manage a 1pm check in. Hotel needs sprucing up looks tired and worn.

Good location. Room was a good size. Tasty food, although the syrup with the pancakes was golden syrup; I would have expected maple syrup.

The bedding was quite old and naff, not particularly comfortable. The shower didn’t drain properly. It all looked a bit tired. Room 6.Clearly understaffed in the pub, not enough people to keep on top of serving and clearing etc.

Very welcoming staff. Room was beautiful. Breakfast the next morning was very good. Was nice to see the pub busy with locals on a Saturday evening.

Comfortable stay, good breakfast. We had booked to have dinner further down the road at the Bistro (highly recommend). We were back at Saracens at 8:45pm and the place was in darkness! Didn't expect it to close so early, it didn't bother us as we had an early start for Snowdon but others may be disappointed with this if staying out of season.

We would highly recommend the Saracens Head, it’s situated in a great central location, very efficient & polite staff, amazing food overall (Very good portions!)

Such a friendly place, you can really relax here. The Food was excellent and the Bed, although looked like it had seen some action, was really really comfy. Even though the poor owners had just witnessed a 14-68 drubbing in the rugby , they still had a smile.

Difficult to find fault, seperate Bathroom across the hall but there is no way to change that with the way the building is. I suppose you could use the Office next door and combine them.

The property and at £165 including breakfast Sunday to Monday is way over priced for the quality of accommodation- don’t be expecting 5 star . It’s only the location close to the Watkins path and a few other locations that gives it value. The breakfast choice is very poor compared to other places we have stayed - would we stay again a definite NO
