Only negative is the long narrow driveway to the property which is challenging for a north American to drive.

Love staying at Sygun Fawr - this was our third time and would not stay anywhere else in the area. The breakfasts are excellent , with a large choice which I have not had anywhere else we have stayed. We chose to eat at the house one evening too - the food then was also excellent. Location great for Snowdonia walking, and easy walk into Beddgelert. The team are very friendly.

everything, location, facility, service and the best are the hosts! we feel welcomed home from the moment we entered! we love the freshly prepared breakfast to start the day very much! you can order packed lunch and dinner too. so good that we know we have home cooked dinner waiting for us after a long day climbing the mountain! the lounge is so relaxing to stay and chill, I found particularly soothing in the raining night sitting there reading. the location is perfect for exploring snowdonia area and hiking to snowdon. walking distance through lovely footpath to town centre. Welsh highland train can take you to coast town with scenery view for a day trip. about 5km away (beautiful footpath) to the starting point of Watkin path for snowdon, you could also take bus when return. we did not need to drive at all in our 3 night stay. totally enjoyed our stay, wish we could stay longer!

spotlessly clean,it had a comfortable feeling. The breakfast room is lovely. There is a licenced bar so you could have a drink. The view over the mountains from the front room is great.

Cozy room with beautiful view and comfy bed (room no. 7 superior double). Pleasant lounge and bar areas to relax. Fantastic food at breakfast and dinner. Friendly owners / service and scenic garden.

Tricky access via a winding walled single track lane especially for larger vehicles.

Perfect location, just outside the village of Beddgelert. The staff are excellent,friendly and they serve a really good breakfast, with lots of choices. We had a room looking towards the mountains, the view was stunning. The room was warm and exceptionally clean and was made up daily. We will definitely return.

During our 3 night, there was a problem with Internet access. The recent storm had caused quite a few problems with trees and telephone lines. On one of our trips out we went to the nearby village of Portmerion. On route we saw first hand trees down and lines dangling on the ground.

Characterful property, superb breakfast , attentive, customer focused staff, warm room , beautiful location. peace and tranquility.

The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home!

Not a dislike, but be prepared to go up a very steep pathway to get to the property! Worth the very short lived stress to be in such a beautiful location.

I think this hotel was the cleanest place I've ever stayed. It was absolutely immaculate! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was yummy. Location was amazing. Thank you for a lovely weekend. ?
