Pros +
- nothing in particular
- Good rooms staff excellent
- Very convenient to our journey. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We could access the garden with our own key which made it excellent as we had two dogs.
Cons -
- The screeching personnel who refused to take our ÃÂã50 note and told us to wait for one hour for dinner the third day, although time was specified on arrival. Other personnel OK! Bathroom: 4 square feet, washstand for Lilliputians. Heavy traffic all nigh
- Our room unfortunately close to road
- A summer weight duvet and another pillow would have been nice as the weather was warm so was the bedroom.

It’s a nice place, rooms a tad dated and bathrooms are small, however rooms are nice and staff are great. Have to remember it’s a pub which provides a fair amount of evening entertainment which can be heard from the rooms upstairs, not overly loud but you are aware of the noise. Wide range of food options which was nice to eat. Outside very large parking area.
Staff were friendly. Good location.
Room was too small. There was no hot water and the shower wouldn't stay on anyway. It was cramped and uncomfortable compared to other rooms. The food was ok, but not great.
All good with accomodation. Very pleased with the value for money, however with 2 small children not serving for breakfast until 9.30am is too late. Service was a little slow as although we were first in hot food wasn't brought to us until nearer 10am.
Passable
the shower wasn‘t nice. You had to press a Button the whole time. Very Little water coming out of it. There was a Dead Spider in the shower when I arrived. The door was very loud the whole night
Meals fine.
No hot water in the tap. Had to boil the kettle for shaving.
Great staff! Nice food and cute park for little one. Great location for where we were visiting.
Room a bit run down and quite noisey as didn't know until the day there was a tribute band on til late, couldn't go to because of little one.
Fabulous location and fabulous staff. Food and room perfect.
All the staff was very nice , lovely location,
When using the shower it would go boiling hot and then it would go ice cold
Friendly staff, good food and comfortable beds .
The staff were amazing ,very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. The towels very white and clean. The atmosphere made me feel very comfortable ,especially as I was on my own.
The only chair was a bit tatty ,but reasonably comfortable. The lamp didnt work and one of the two coat hangers was broken. However these were very minor things and didnt spoil my stay.
I had food there one night and I woke every hour gasping for water as the food was very salty. The showers and toilet is way too small, it really dose let the place down .
Size of Showers and the food is over priced for what your are getting, serving Wetherspoons food and charging country pub prices.
Great location. Friendly staff. Food was lovely. We had our dog with us, no problems. Room was clean. Bathroom small but ok for one night. Located on a busy road so noisy at night.
Nick and nicki were very warm and welcoming hosts, rooms Comfortable and great food will stay again
Peaceful
They charged me twice for same booking. I paid through booking.com prior to my checkin and when i arrived, the lady asked me to make payment telling me that they haven’t got payment yet. Later i saw twice payment from my card. I called them after and the guy assured me that refund has been initiated already. However, i checked out on 2 feb and its 20 feb today, i never got refund nor response to my message via booking partner. And that’s TERRIBLE.
Cosy pub, just what was required for me, plenty of free parking and WiFi was good.Bed was very comfy.
Room was cold, bathroom window was broken and couldn't close it.
location and food were good
the room was very basic, you could hear the traffic all through the night, windows leaked cold air - curtains were too long and therefore blocked the heating out of the room
I like that the place was friendly, pub wad nice with nice food. Checking in and out wad easy. The room was lovely and clean had what we needed for one night.
The bathroom in the room was tiny u could barley move in there. The noise from the outside traffic was too loud for me which kept me awake as I am a light sleeper.
