Pros +
- Proximity to the river, bridges, tube and Borough Market. The room was also more like an efficiency apartment as there was an oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, which would have been amazing if I was staying longer!
- Location near Tate Modern and Thames river
- Convenience, amenities, quiet central area.
Cons -
- The shower was terribly designed - there was no door or curtain or step, so the water literally flooded the whole bathroom. Also, the room layout was odd as we could not roll suitcases into the room due to the furniture placement.
- Few coffee caps both in bedroom and pentry
- Nothing to dislike

Location near Tate Modern and Thames river
Few coffee caps both in bedroom and pentry
Convenience, amenities, quiet central area.
Nothing to dislike
Amazing location, staff were super friendly and on the ball. Rooms were so well laid out and equipped.
Great location. Friendly staffs.
Light switches are hard to figure out how to use
It’s clean, convenient, and is good to have a fridge and hub.
No one comes to clean it, doesn’t come with usual hotel amenities, is a little too “air bnb” like
Great central location and the room was pretty big for being in London. It had great common space as well with 2 bathrooms. The staff was so friendly. Highly recommend
The sofa bed was not the most comfy but we were only staying for 2 nights
Stayed here many times. Very quiet location . Staff is excellent. Uber boat terminal is two minutes away and a great way to get around. Tate modern 5 minute walk. Many good places to eat nearby. Washer and dryer in room.
Nothing really.
No heater no hot water in winter...
The facilities are good but in middle of January in London, the heaters were not woring and we did not have hot water. We changed to another room the second day. Same thing. Third day into another room. Heaters finally worked. But still no hot water. Seems to be something structural from the building. The manager offered to reimburse two nights. When we left only a 15% (later they offered 30%) of reimbursement only. It is a pitty because the rooms are comfortable but no sense to be there in winter without heating or hot water.
Location is perfection.
Sulfur/sewage smell in room. Bathroom door broken and didn’t close. Worn out furniture with holes and stains. My child cut her leg on exposed metal on the sofa bed.
Great location, friendly front desk (thanks Oana) and helpful cleaning staff, nice clean spacious apartment with gorgeously comfy bed and washer dryer.
“High tech” lighting in room and auto light in bathroom (which stayed on far too long at night but switched off during shower) slightly annoying. Otherwise everything great.
Great location, very close to the Thames, restaurants, bars and Burrough Markets. Modern + comfortable facilities.
Location
This is NOT a hotel. No hotel would ask a guest to fight with a dodgy phone app and scan their passports first thing as they arrive and refuse to have an alternative check in. The amatures who decided on that have obviously never been on a ten hours flight and hours of transfers only to be greeted by 'but did you check in online?' even airlines don't ask one to scan their passports in a weird app. This is total bull. No hotel will have a room without a desk and advertise 'you can work from your room.' No hotel will have such bad temperature control in the room so that it is either 15 or 30 degrees C, and nothing in between. No hotel will have a single person on site at any time hidden behind monitors where they can't seen or can see who comes in. No assistance with luggage. No adequate lights in the bathroom. I suggest the management stay in the room in which we stayed for two nights an see how they get along with less than a foot of space between the bed and the wall. The ridiculous decision to build a brick walls for the bathroom but to leave no light above the mirror so one can actually see their face as they shave or do their make up. Please stop calling this poorly executed student dorm a hotel. You are not running a hotel. You are a greedy money grabbing organization with no research and no experience in hospitality and no desire for actual customer comfort. You can't even bother to clean the common areas or provide simple filtered coffee for your guests. Go stay in a Holiday Inn Express for a couple of days and learn how to run a basic offering. They have much more sense of what is comfort.
Staying in Bankside is the perfect location to see London. Having the Uber Boat dock right there was so convenient and made getting to all the sites we wanted to see easy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the property was clean and inviting. The room was also very clean; however, it could use some refreshing. All in all, this was a wonderful choice for our week in London.
The room was a little sparse. I had to keep my makeup bag in the kitchen. While there are cabinets for your things, it was easier to leave them out by the sink since we weren’t going to cook. The walls and headboard were a little dingy and could use a refresh. Not sure it’s a good idea to have a fabric headboard. It seemed clean but clearly had stains.
Location!
The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable; washing machine confused us a bit
Great location, huge appt and wonderful staff.
They MUST change the automatic lights in the bathrooms- people do not want to be woken up when they need to get up in the night.
The aparthotel was fully equipped with everything you need. Washer/dryer in the room, oven, dishwasher, French press, utensils etc. It is near the Bourgh Market so there are lots of eating places.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Great location and convenient amenities, helpful staff.
In a 6 night stay it doesn’t make sense that the beds are not made even once.
Helpful staff. Good location. A lot of room
Dark space. Also the pull out bed was broken. They tried to fix it but broke again. We paid more to have triple occupancy but our son was very uncomfortable in his bed.
The location is fantastic! We liked it so much that last day coming from Amsterdam and having some hours to spent before heading to Heathrow we went to the hotel and dropped our bags to do a last walk by the river (Iva was so kind)!
