- The location of the hotel is ideal for tourists. Its less than a 2 mile walk away from all the major attractions such as Big Ben, London Bridge, The Eye, etc. And several restaurants and markets around the hotel.
- The location and the friendly staff, the noise level was ok.
Cons -
- WIFI was almost non-existant in our room.
- Unlike a lot of others said, my room wasn't very clean. The floors hadn't been swept or mopped in a while. Long hairs and dust on the floors and sheets. Front desk wasn't friendly and one laughed at me when I couldn't count ÃÂã to pay for water on
- While the room was clean in general. The shower door and surround could have done with a scouring as you could see the build up of shedded skin from previous users.

Our flight got in very late, but there was still a front desk person to greet us and it was near some 24 hour food amenities.
It was a very hot couple of nights and there was no air conditioning and the fan provided little relief. There was a window, but it opened eye level out onto the street. Lots of people stood near our window to smoke & chat & could reach in if they wanted.
Very clean (spotless ?)
The location was great--in between two Tube stations.
No elevator. LOL.
Close proximity to stores and convenient transportation.
No I like everything.
good price.
Location
The room was very dated and a bit tatty.
The location is excellent for transport links to all the main sights in the capital and many shops cafes etc. on Walworth Rd.
Central location, very clean and quiet rooms, helpful front desk
Nothing!
The location was a highlight: only 10-15 minutes by bus to the main attractions, with a stop just 2 minutes away. The room was very comfortable—warm and dry. Coffee, tea, and housekeeping were provided daily
The toiletries were a bit basic: there was no hair conditioner, and the shower only provided shampoo, which seemed to be the same multi-purpose soap used for the sink
Location was good. Easily accessible with buses/tube.
We had a party underneath the hotel that went on till the early hours of the morning which was very annoying as we had a flight in the morning. The music was very loud to the point that the walls were vibrating. The hotel staff at the time, who were teenagers, did not know what to do and were afraid to say anything other than "it will end eventually". After multiple complaints and insisting that I myself will go talk to the restaurant and call the council team regarding the noise disturbance, they moved us to a different room and told us there is no need to escalate as "it will end eventually". It helped a little but the noise was still audible and they refused to deal with the source of the issue. The next morning we were told to send the email and ask for a refund for that night. Our email was completely ignored of course.Overall, most of the nightshift consists of teenagers who are incompetent and unable to help you if you have an issue. There is a restaurant/bar underneath and the walls are very thin. If you're looking for a quiet place, look elsewhere.Edit to address hotel response:There was no misunderstanding or misinterpretation on my part. I followed the instructions I received and emailed the listed hotel email address [email protected] (see attached image). Your response makes no sense either as the issue occurred on the 2nd night due to the party. Nowhere did I suggest that my 1st was affected. In fact, it did meet my expectations as we were able to get good sleep as there was no party. Interesting to see who is misunderstanding or misinterpreting here. Regarding the restaurant below, at no point did they reduce the music levels, if anything it got worse. If you deem it acceptable that it takes multiple complaints (and at least an hour since the start of the party) before staff relocated us as promptly, great for you, but I would then encourage people to stay away from this place.
Check in and check out we’re smooth. Location was decent.
Very noisy at night. Right across from a very active police station. Cleaning staff barged into room without knocking.
It was okay
The property was okay but what was annoying is the Very noisy staff at 8am in the morning speaking loudly to each other in the hallway of our room whilst cleaning rooms (almost shouting to each other about cleaning arrangements, moving furniture, using hoover) on a new years eve so our sleep was disrupted obviously.
Nothing, dreadful hotel
Room was absolutely disgusting and hotel is more like a dormitory, not worth expensive nightly rate. You can stay in Hilton for £20 more a night. I refused to stay there and showed the photo evidence of disgusting room. Do not book this hotel, it is a complete rip off and not worth the money
Staff were super helpful and even stored our luggage after check out, room was decently clean and the space was okay for the two of us for a few nights
The area was slightly dodgy but okay for a few nights stay, the shower temperature would be freezing cold if you got in too late at night which was not fun in December
Location, quiet, comfortable
We've stayed here a few times now, the location is perfect, lots of buses to everywhere in London. The rooms are functional, comfy and clean. What more do you need for a layover?Staff is great, very helpful. We had big suitcases this time, and we were given a ground floor room, which was so helpful!
Staff were excellent, room was clean, admin process was easy
Slightly noisy area
