City London Hotel

We liked the area and the staff. The hotel staff were so accommodating and helpful. The hotel is close to the tube station and close enough that we walked into London all three days.

The hotel does have its quirks and charms. One thing in particular was the tiny, step up shower. Getting in and then out again was a lesson in balance and prayers for safety.

Great location for The Globe/ Waterloo. Budget but immaculate. Lovely bonus to have breakfast included. Very gracious welcome for my late arrival

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, being so close to everything but in a relatively quiet spot on the outskirts rather than in the busy parts of London.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

It was relatively quiet for sleeping. The reception staff were nice.

Teeny tiny rooms, no bedside table, 1 light in room didnt work, 1 plug socket and not next to bed. strange decor. Breakfast was terrible, oddest I've had at a hotel.

Hotel location is good. Staffs are friendly & cooperative. Cleaning is good. Breakfast is also too good.

Shower area is very compact,, fat peoples may face issue. Room could have been little bigger for seating.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well run. Easy check in. Easy check out. Very nice breakfast buffet offered for all visitors.

Breakfast was excellent. Although billed as a continental breakfast, there were hot items as well (including beans and pancakes!).

Wish we had known about the hot breakfast items sooner, because we'd made separate plans to meet friends for brunch, assuming the continental would be meagre. Would have happily had the full meal at the hotel. Had written to the hotel asking about this via booking.com before travel, but never received an answer.

Really recommend this hotel. It’s super clean, has an amazing breakfast, and the staff is fantastic. Definitely made for a great stay.
