    • Beds
    • Staff were friendly and helpful especially Kieron, Ella, and few others so helpful. They listen your issues and try to resolve them. Give suggestions for any things you need to know as well. Location is good rite opp Borough Market, rooms especially 4 sharing is good clean with AC, curtains for privacy each bed had sockets. Bathrooms and toilets are many for every floor, there is seperate female dorms as well, being a female I did not feel anything for sharing mix dorms as well. Rooms are cleaned and vaccumed everyday as and went a guests vacate they clean up the beds. There is lift which is not there in most of the hostels in London only drawback is you can stay only 7 days in a row I wish they change it.
    • The front desk staff where simply incredible especially the French Moroccan Lady

    Cons -

    • I liked everything about St Chrostopher Inn- The Village I recommend all my friends to stay here.
    • It was perfect and absolutely clean
    • Restroom Hygiene could have been better. The DJ noise was disturbing the night sleep. The stay cost could have been little lower.

The hygiene of the bed and Capsule is good. Morning breakfast is pretty decent. The location is very nice for site seeing.

Restroom Hygiene could have been better. The DJ noise was disturbing the night sleep. The stay cost could have been little lower.

It was a decent place to stay for the price. The rooms were tight and some of the bathrooms needed some love. If you walked down the hall, there were better bathrooms. Breakfast was decent and the pub was good.

Rooms were tight. Lockers were in hallway. Bathroom closest was junk.

    The location is alright

Most of the female receptionists in this hostel are rude and unfriendly. No smile. Rude. And no patience.

    3christianPosted on: 1-1-2026

It was near london bridge station and close to many stores wich was nice.

The facility was pretty dirty and your bed doesn't get changed each night. The bathrooms are dirty and the showers are unbearable.

The location was great and the breakfast was very good for a nice price!

The showers were a little uncomfortable as there isn’t much space to leave your things. The beds weren’t very comfortable.

Very clean and friendly staff. Especially Ella. Beds were very comfortable too.

The tea room or lounge area had a coffee and tea section. Perhaps a bar fridge for people to leave milk would be good.

    Location

I will never recommend this hostel to stay because of the staff! My phone was stolen at the street next to this hostel then I came back to reception to ask a help. 1. Receptionist didn’t even asked me to help/to call the police2. I asked for help to use a phone then he said “Sorry, according to the policy of the company I cannot share my personal phone with guests”. I understand it but here is the different situation I am not asking their phone for my personal purposes. I just wanted to let my family and friends know that I do not have any access to call them anymore. 3. I asked for help from 3 of them and all 3 receptionists refused me. But I saw that after me there was a white man with whom one of them was nice and was ready to help. I am sorry but I see here racism (I am asian). The main complaint is I did not receive a due treatment. This was my first time in London, it was my first solo trip and I did not expect that no one even in the hostel would help me! I tried them to explain that I am alone and no one even can help me. I do not have anyone in London. They didn’t care. I am wholly unsatisfied and disappointed! 4 stars only for the location. Beds are old, rooms need a reconstruction, toilets were always dirty, and it was cold in the shower. ????????????????

    Its location was good

Staff was not helpful. I needed help rebooking and they were rude. I would’ve rather just gone to a different place that had nicer staff didn’t feel comfortable

I stayed in the capsule room, I loved it! You can have your privacy and it's comfy as well. I would definitely stay there again for a few nights. The stuff was very helpful as well and helped me with a small accident I had with my stuff.

Some people staying in the hostel weren't very considerate or respectful with the toilets. It would be helpful if there are more inspections from the cleaning stuff to make sure the toilets are functional for the rest and all the supplies are available.

    8waithiraPosted on: 11-26-2025

Generally the stay was good. the rooms were clean and there was value for money. The breakfast was Ok.

but I wish there was a staff on standby or information on how to go about using the food area and maximizing use of the facility

    8AyodelePosted on: 11-8-2025

use of tech in opening doors

Female Staff was rude to me on my first night. I simply asked to know when the bar closes as noise disturbs me from sleeping. sometimes music goes on till after midnight.Only to be told off and informed that if i did not like it i should go to another place. The manager on duty who should know better customer service was not very helpful too. it took the intervention of a security guard at the venue to calm things down. The Customer is always right in matters of taste, even if my request could not be met, there are ways of explaining it away without insults. I am a service person and would never treat my customers like that. The manager eventually gave me ear plugs and i was sent to a room that wasnt impacted by the noise.

The location is great! It is close to public transportation, restaurants, and grocery stores.

It was very cold in the room I was in. The staff member turned the heat up but it was still very cold.

    Location

Uncomfortable beds, lifter not working, also dryer machines not working, too much noise

    8Toni M.Posted on: 10-26-2025

I liked the capsule bed and that there's a solo bathroom without having to share with other people.

I didn't like that the lift was not working and there's no fridge in the building
