Cons -
- We liked everything about it
- There was no hair dryer in the bathroom and some of the outlets were not working.
- Toilet wouldn't flush properly, arrived a bit confused since we weren't informed that our room had been changed or that sockets had been turned off on our floor while an electrician worked.

Beds were lovely and comfortable, plugs for each bunk was nice, staff were lovely and helpful. Self catering facilities were very useful.

Excellent location: Right next to a bus stop and within walking distance to the metro. The neighborhood is very quiet.Comfortable bed, clean linens, and effective heating. I appreciated the daily cleaning and the USB charging ports at every bed.Storage is provided via long horizontal chipboard boxes where you can use your own padlock.
Major window & ventilation issues: The window insulation is broken and held shut by a makeshift latch. This causes constant condensation and puddles on the windowsill, leading to visible mold. As I was traveling with my son, who has allergies, this was a major concern. The mattresses have rubberized covers, and the sheets are exactly the same width as the mattress. This makes it impossible to tuck them in at the sides, so they constantly move and slide off.Despite "daily cleaning," there was a thick layer of dust on the curtains and under the beds. There are no chairs or nightstands. For those on the top bunk, the only place to sit is on the neighbor’s bottom bunk, which is very awkward due to the ladder placement. The bathroom flooring looks messy and unkempt. No towels were provided—only soap and toilet paper.
It was practical clean and easy
Well, I liked all in general. If I need to change something would be normal bed instead of bunker beds but I knew this already and was ok
The room was warm.
They informed us that the elevator was not working, but it was finally working normally. They don't provide bath towels.
The price is very affordable, and the location is excellent—it's very close to the city center.
The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak.
The staff was very friendly and the facilities was really clean and well organised.
You can’t use the hairdryer in the toilet due to different socket. But this is far from a deal breaker.I had a really good time there.
Bad
Incredibly rude, unprofessional, and hostile service from the reception staff and treatment manager, Jin. If you want to be treated poorly and disrespected, I don’t recommend coming here. I experienced aggressive and hostile behavior from both the manager and a staff member. I didn’t say anything at the time, as I realized these people aren’t worth the money or my time. Save your nerves and energy—go somewhere else. The level of customer service is terrible.
Location is great and has many things available in the kitchen and it’s great that it’s 24hrs too and the bar area is very good and bit!
Would like to see them upgrade to keyless entry like a smart phone app I forget my card sometimes when going in to change clothes.
Good value-for-money choice in a quiet area. Affordable price for zone 2 if you are travelling by yourself or with a friend.
Toilet seat should be changed, it was not dirty but seemed eroded from the use. Bathroom was clean otherwise.
Friendly staff.
The shower room is quite small and also the common kitchen, isnquite small for all the people using it every morning.
Value for money!Good location.
Bathroom are dated..
This hostel is modern and spacious! I really like the water bottle refill station and the spacious lounge area with lots of comfy couches and tables and places to charge my phone. I like the big glass ceiling which let's in lots of natural light. The staff are super amazing! They kindly printed out my plane ticket for me. I liked how spacious the room was, and the shower was nice and the locker was spacious. Although the neighborhood is a bit far from the more touristy parts of London, it is really nice neighborhood with lots of lovely trails along the water, and the C-10 bus stops right in front of the hostel. There is a nice little neighborhood grocery store about a ten minute walk away. I also really like how the staff are there to help 24/7.
The shower in my particular room took a while to drain. This isn't always the case because I stayed here twice and the first time I stayed here the shower drained perfectly. I felt the kitchen was a little small and slightly lacking in some kitchen equipment. I like how there's a free food shelf in the kitchen, but I kind of wish there was a reserved "free" section in the fridge as well. These aren't reasons to avoid this place though, as it was excellent value and I would come again.
good locationFriendly staffGood kitchen
Water pressure in the private toilet was weakThere was no body soap by shower There were not enough cuttelies such as big eating spoons
The staffs were very friendly and helpful, the place very clean, nice and well located. The room was very nice and warm for short stayings, and the private bathroom with a fair price if very good.
It would have been a perfect experience if it weren’t for the shower itself, which is very poorly located in the corner of the wall. Much more water ends up on the wall than on your body. I understand that the idea behind this type of shower is to save water, but I would have taken faster and more efficient showers with a regular one.
I liked the location and how easy it is to get around London from there. I also especially liked the kitchen and front desk staff who took extra care to support and look after us.
On walking into our room, there was a lingering dusty and stale carpet smell but it was still a clean and comfortable room overall.
Staff upbeat and professional. Tube station within walking distance. Neighborhood pretty quiet. Kitchen available to guests.
Some of my roommates couldn't be bothered to keep the toilets clean.
The location, by the river, near awesome pubs. The people, all very amicable.
The shower has zero pressure. It only works on very thin and short hair. The water flow is just enough to wash the body. The toilet's flush system is very tricky. We stayed as a family in a 6 person private room, but it would not be comfortable to stay with other people, the bathroom is very small to change in.
