Great Location and staff.
Laundry was not easy to use.
Suitable for us. Nice a clean.
Couldn't get tv to work
Facilities are good, including the toaster, microwave oven, TV with Chromecast (the best I like), good Wifi, refrigerator. A clean place and comfy bed. The location is excellent. The outlook of the building is beautiful. Very helpful staff.
The apartment is hot, much hotter than the outside. The sun shines on the glass roof and the hot air is trapped. A big and strong fan is provided, feeling ok.
The most important thing -a comfortable bed, clean and tidy. The cleaner came in one day when we were out and changed towels, swept up, and generally put our room in order. We could see the Shard and London eye out of our window.Large room, with trendy lighting, three times the size of the hotels we normally hire.Despite the long list of things I didn't like, I would consider staying here again - but not in summer.A large and beautiful park is three minutes walk away. The Thames riverside is five minutes walk away from the other side of the park. From there is the most iconic views of Tower bridge, The monument, The Shard ecetera and views down the river and across to the river police docks. We walked to the river side every day.
The window had the hinges on the wrong side, so it couldn't be opened more than a few inches, then it came up against the kitchen bench. There was no air conditioner, so being unable to open a window properly made the room stupidly hot. A fan is provided, so we had it directly on us for the whole week. The pillows provided had virtually no filling. An odd assortment of cutlery, one soup spoon and two bowls, one desert spoon and two bowls, one teaspoon and two mugs (one chipped). A couple of knives, forks and plates. We placed the microwave on the floor as it took up nearly all the limited bench space. Nowhere to put washed dishes to drain/dry. We found the almost continuous noise of motorbikes and emergency vehicle sirens most disturbing - but we normally live at the end of a road in a rural town, so that's probably just our bias. Most difficult to have a cool shower, as it was gas, it was either warm or cold.
The location was great, very convenient to the Overground. Beds were comfortable, and everything was fairly clean and the hotel itself was very quiet.. We never interacted with staff on-site, but their communication via email was exceptional leading up to our stay. It was nice to have the kitchenette facilities, and we really appreciated the fan since we were there over a very hot few days!
We were disappointed that the bed configuration we booked was not what we received. I understand that things like this are subject to availability, but there should be a way to control for that in the reservation process so that one cannot book a configuration that is unavailable for the dates of the booking (we specifically only considered hotels with the bed options we were looking for and would not have booked here if it was not shown as available). We made it work, but it was not ideal and definitely took away from our enjoyment of our stay. Additionally, there were no curtains in the room, just blinds over the windows. This meant the room was quite bright very early in the morning, which made sleeping difficult. Something for other travelers to be aware of is the road noise. We had a ground floor room and had to have the windows open because of the heat and lack of air conditioning. There was a lot of road noise at all hours of the night.
Good value, £100 per night. I liked that there was a kitchen so we could cook our own breakfast.
The bed was very small to accommodate two adults. We got sort of the room that we booked but now completely, ours was smaller and more cramped than the ones in the pictures. For those traveling during summer periods you should be aware that the room got hot and there’s no air conditioning.
The location was good and the kitchenette in the room was very useful. The room was pretty clean.
The bed was a little small and the pillows were uncomfortable. The towel rail was permanently on which made the whole space very warm. Also with the windows open it was noisy as the hotel is on a main road.
It is clean with basic equipments.
There are steps which have actually divided into two levels between the room and the little kitchen and the bathroom. The base in the bathroom is too small to put anything on it. There are a toaster and a kettle in the kitchen but no space to use them.
Really friendly and communicative, lovely lady checked us all in, allowing us an early check in too. Room was fabulous, clean and modern with big windows giving so much light. Location was peaceful for London, with a convenience store right next door.
Nothing it was fab
Property was very nice! Clean, and comfortable for entire family (4 of us). Easy to get too and immediately welcomed by staff on arrival who made the entire process very easy and got us to the room soundly.
Only issue I had was the room had no air conditioning, got very warm and only fan linked to the light, however, as soon as window opened due in the night this was sorted and comfortable
location was great for us visiting family and friends in canada water - place was very clean with nice white towels and linen - shower was great - overall this accommodation provided all that was needed for few nights or even longer. we were in room 4
toilet was a bit tight for space when door closed - ok for us as not large people but some may struggle lol
Staff are really friendly and provide an easy check in service. The apartment itself is modern and well facilitated (however no tea towel to dry the pots with). Comfy bed
If you're sensitive to light and sound then this isn't the place for you. Lots of windows in apartment which have blinds on but no curtains and a lot of light still comes into the room. Also by the main road so extremely loud, unfortunately it made for a pretty poor nights sleep.
Positives:- The apartment itself was very nice, comfortable and warm. Facilities inside were good. - Spacious with enough room for a family of four.-Corner shop next door.-Southwark park only a few minutes walk away. Not so positives:-The room was advertised with a free early check in but this was not honoured by the hotel (they did let us check in 1 hour early as I was unhappy about this).-The hotel wanted to know the exact time of our check in, something I’ve not experienced before. I did not know that this would mean that the reception area would be locked until this time. Those with children will know, things don’t always run to a strict timetable. We arrived at 11am and were hoping to leave our luggage in the reception (we were told this is a service they offer) there was a sign in the doorway saying they would be back in a few minutes. After sending the hotel a message with no reply, and waiting for 20-30 minutes, we made the decision to take our luggage with us. Leaving us carrying our stuff around London for 3 hours. When we returned 10 minutes before check in, the same sign was still in the doorway and we had to ring to alert staff that we were there.
Very nice and clean. Nice beds and good location. Would be very nice to add a dish towel for the kichen.
Spacious room, plenty of facilities and very comfy beds.
Clean and very comfy bed
I was in the basement and noise above was loud, people banging about until midnight made it a difficult night sleep for me.Location is about 15 minutes walk from bermondsey station so with bags it was quite challenging so ended up getting an Uber which defeated the object of a continent place to live
Dissapointing
I stayed in these apartments last June and was very happy with my stay, so I wanted to book again. Unfortunately, this time it did not meet my expectations.First, when we checked into the room, the first thing we noticed was beard hair in the bathroom sink, limescale, and an unclean bathroom. Additionally, the cistern didn’t work at first. Upon noticing these issues, we confronted the staff, and they were very helpful in fixing the cistern, but the room remained dirty. When we returned to the apartment at night, we discovered that the window wouldn’t close properly. As a result, we could hear traffic throughout the night and had a hard time getting any sleep. I again raised this issue the next morning, and they gave us a new room, which was much better.Later that evening, when we arrived at 10 PM, the new key card they gave us didn’t work. We had to call the emergency number and communicate with someone who wasn’t very cooperative. We finally checked into the new room 30 minutes later, only to find that the toilet was unclean. After having a positive experience last June, this stay made me realize that there may be issues with the cleaners, and many repairs need to be addressed to meet the standards expected for the price.
