The decor was beautiful and it was in a good location

The heating did not turn on, we had to ask for a portable heater in the room. Also the tv kept switching off on its own and rebooting room 428

Very clean, comfy bed. Great shower. Great breakfast choice, great location near tower bridge. Staff were very friendly.

The location, service, breakfast, and general atmosphere was fantastic

There was nothing we didn’t like. Our only comments were that the twin room we stayed in didn’t have a dressing table/seat with a mirror which wasn’t ideal when trying to put make up on. There also wasn’t a hairdryer (although it may be that we just couldn’t find it!). The hotel was fantastic and the comments are just to reflect what would take a fantastic hotel to a perfect hotel.

Very clean, comfortable bed, great location. Property itself is nice.

Staff weren't great. Poor attitudes and when checking in my partner was there before me and the lady behind the desk was very rude to him. Especially as id put in the notes that this was a surprise night stay for him.

Beautiful building . Great rooms with lovely showers . Great buffet breakfast . Staff so welcoming and attentive . Also , wonderfully perfumed !!!

Breakfast plentiful but quality not greatWe stayed 5 nights but room wasn’t serviced on 3 days. When we called reception someone attended but did half a job eg tea, coffee and water wasn’t replenished.

This is a high end hotel but fir me it did not meet the cleanliness levels. I found dust under the bed and units. Which I wouldn't normally see in a hotel of this standard

Breakfast was very good with a wide range offered. All staff were excellent. The Courtroom bar was good and the staff helpful and a nice ambience.

Most of the mirrors in the room seemed to have an aged effect which affects usefulness.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was decorated to a high standard, and the bathroom was spotless — although the shower could have been a bit more powerful, that was only a minor point. The bed was extremely comfortable. The reception staff were amazing, answering all my queries before we arrived, and we were delighted to be offered a room upgrade and a later check-out. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a lovely cake, chocolate and a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We chose The Dixon to celebrate 20 years together, and it was a perfect choice. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The hotel entrance is grand and beautiful, and the history of the building adds an extra touch of charm.

The pillows were unfortunately quite uncomfortable — they felt as though they were filled with candy floss. If we had stayed for more than one night, we definitely would have requested additional pillows. We also had to sleep with the bathroom door open, as it doubles as the wardrobe door, and closing it triggered the wardrobe light sensor. This setup could do with a better solution. We didn’t have breakfast, as it was slightly above our budget, and the room rate was already on the higher side. Lastly, there wasn’t much of a view from our room, which was a little disappointing.

They work with a parking lot nearby, and advertise it on their booking.com page for 20.5 pounds a day while in fact they let you have a 25% discound code that comes to 32 pounds.They don't answer the phone either. Howevet, once I mentioned it to the front desk they apologized and offered a free breakfast as a compensation.Also, the closest tube station is within 13 minutes walk.

Reception staff were quite rude and abrupt. We were not greeted with a smile and were made to feel as though our presence was an inconvenience to them.
