• Great location. Comfortable bed.

Cons -

• Our bags were left in the main pub not locked away securely as assured by a staff when we dropped them off before we could check in. They were left in the main pub from 11am until 5pm. We were given the wrong key for our room. A male and female staff weren't very polite or interested. Seemed inconvenienced by us to be honest. Bedroom had peeling wallpaper. We raised issues regarding plumbing after we had checked into our room. The shower was blocked, waste coming up the sink and the toilet wasn't flushing properly. My partner said this to the gentleman staff who had checked us in. He said someone would look at it. We came back to our room a number of hours later and this wasn't done. The sink actually filled and flooded the bathroom floor that night while I was washing my face. We had to use all our towels to dry the floor. We rang the number staff had given us and sent a message via booking.com but neither were answered. I asked a staff member at 9am for fresh towels to be left and explained the plumbing issues again. She said she would leave towels and follow this up. We got back to the room about 10pm and no towels and plumbing again not sorted. We phoned and staff were apologetic and brought clean towels. Offered to look at plumbing but we were too tired and were checking out the next day. Staff did apologise the next day. The first nice and helpful staff we came across. Extremely dissapointed and really let down after spending 300 to stay here.
