    Pros +

    • The warm welcome, the traditional building filled with history. The spacious room with great tea tray. The lovely lady on breakfast duty who looked after us well! The wonderful Scottish breakfast!
    • Good cooked breakfast , friendly staff .warm comfortable room
    • We got a friendly welcome and the a staff were very helpful.

    Cons -

    • Not the property’s fault but I was unaware of the road closures around the town centre which made our arrival a bit stressful - if I’d been warned I might not have had a ‘google maps’ adventure and a child desperate for the loo!
    • The room was lovely and warm but, being on the ground floor, we couldn't leave the window open while we slept. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. So, overall, a bit of attention to ventilation would be good (perhaps fixing the fan and adding locks to the windows which limit how wide they open).
    • Nothing to report

Lovely, clean room. Booked a twin room which had 2 double beds and one single bed in it. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of continental and cooked options available.

We booked the Airlie to meet up with family for a Christmas night out. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We actually had a laugh that we were sleeping where the bar used to be, as we have seen that area go through two upgrades. You would not know that it had been a lounge and then a restaurant. I think it's a great addition to the hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kirrie.

Well maintained building. Great room. Competent staff.

Bar food was just okay. TV in room didn’t work well.

The location was central to the town. The night life was busy and difficult get a table, you must book. the food was plentiful but basic

The var was small and had little seating other than if you booked for a meal table

A large room with two good beds. A good shower. The room was quiet. The pub downstairs was welcoming.

Parking can be an issue. The hotel has none of its own but there is a municipal car park just a short walk away. If there is space there, that's great. But on our arrival it was full and we had to park in the street a hundred yards or so away.
