The staff were amazing

We didn't stay long enough

Good location, great room

Shower was poor pressure but apart from that no complaints

Lovely hotel bar sells great food, breakfast is plentiful and the rooms are very spacious . Staff are so friendly and both g is a bother .

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly especially Murray who was very helpful.

Friendliness

Did not get the chance to book a time for breakfast,turned out there was a large group for breakfast at the same time.

Very welcoming atmosphere and cosy bedroom

The breakfast was really nice but the haggis and black pudding were soggy and needed a bit more cooking.

We liked everything about our stay from staff welcoming to room location very good short walk to town centre. Will definitely have a return stay.

A Professional and yet family atmosphere here at the South Beach Hotel in Troon. very friendly and helpful staff and a pleasant and comfortable stay!

To be honest there wasn't much to not like - we were very satisfied with the stay. The only thing I thought wasn't great was the fact you couldn't take your key out if the hotel.

Nice wee hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Bar is good. Breakfast was decent enough.

The view from my room was a concrete block wall 2 feet from the window.The shower was not warm, let alone hot.

Helpful and friendly staff, great location and great breakfasts. I didn't have dinner but I'm sure that's also great. Nice bar with sports channels on TV.

Perhaps the one thing that could be improved is the showers.

Room was fine, albeit the decor was a little dated. Bed was very comfy and there was plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. Electric shower wasn't great.Breakfast was excellent, hot option served at the table.Staff throughout were great, friendly and efficient.

The shower - mains shower would have been better but perhaps not possible due to limitations of plumbing in such an old building.

“fair usage of stairs” means you may need to carry your suitcase up and down, which can be challenging with heavier luggage. It’s worth considering this in advance if mobility or the weight of bags could be an issue.
