Great location to the golf courses we played! Incredible value and Scott’s upstairs is wonderful food and service as well!Shower pressure was fantastic!

The location was perfect, we booked dinner upstairs in Scott's which was fantastic. The apartment was spotless and the perfect size. Our dog was made to feel very welcome with his own wee doggy bag and blanket provided. The toiletries were a lovely touch! The views over the Marina were stunning

The kitchen facilities were a little limited - no over but perfect for what we needed

Fantastic apartments overlooking the marina which was beautiful. Great location and fab restaurant next door to apartment. Dog friendly too and even left a doggy pack of biscuits, poo bags and even a dog toy which was very cute. Great big shower and they provided shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which smells amazing.

The only criticism I would say they aren't soundproofed as we could hear guests above us. Also we had a 1 bedroom apartment and daughter was on the sofabed in living room. There are no doors on bedroom.

Fabulous location right on the marina, the standard of the apartments is very good and very comfortable. Really appreciated the little gifts that were left for us on arrival. No restaurant on site but Scott's Restaurant is right next door if you want to eat out.

The bed unfortunately wasn't great. It was 2 single beds pushed together and me and my partner had to sleep on each side because we kept falling into the crevice.

Beautiful view from the room over the harbour, very pleasant apartment with some very well received gifts on arrival. Easy check in, pleasant staff.

I can't think of anything apart from the temperature, but we weren't there to sunbathe!

Valentine Break In TroonFebruary 2025Our first impressions when we got to The Salt Lodge was WOW, The scenery is just outstanding, On checking in we were welcomed and shown to our lodge (NO.3). Quick wee run through what was in the lodge and the workings of things, we were left to get settled in. First impressions on the lodge were 5* Fantastic and we still had the same feeling when we left 3 days later.The bed was massive and comfortable, pillows and linen were of high quality, Large LCD Tv in bedroom as well. The bathroom was superb, full walk-in shower, heated towel rail and plenty space. The kitchen space had everything you needed for the short break away, 2 Ring Hob, Full size fridge & compartment freezer, Full size kettle & Toaster, Sink with drainer board, Full cutlery and crockery sets and all the cupboards you required. a few added touches like sugar sachets, coffee & Tea, packet of biscuits and other snacks to be had, 2 bottles of water in the fridge, full recycle bins and small paper baskets around the lodge.But the best part we had in Lodge No.3 was the stunning terrace with views.We have also found our new island hop, the ferry from Troon takes you into Brodick (in 75mins) on the Isle of Arran........ Absolutely fantastic.we would 100% return for another few days.

From when we booked the Salt Lodge it did not inform us that it didn't have proper cooking facilities it just had a duel hob. No oven no grill. very small amount of utensils etc.

That we could not cook a proper meal so as trying to get guests to use the restaurant on site

Views exceptional, very well equipped apartment. TV's in both living room and bedroom a big bonus. Coffee, tea, welcome snacks, most toiletries all provided. The apartment was emaculately clean.

Personal preference, the mattress was too firm for us but pillow and duvet of great quality.
