Great North Hotel

Clean , good food , pleasant staff

Everything was great

Easy to find, parking on site, friendly staff, bar and restaurants on site. Great bathrooms with powerful showers.

Personal preference but beds could be firmer.

I liked the cleanliness of it and up to date design and the bed was comfortable

Nothing really

Perfect location, very clean, great staff.

Good price, comfy bed, clean room, TV

made tea and coffee in the room and threw them away - I think it was the milk

It was very clean, quiet and the staff was very helpful

There is nothing to dislike

Very clean and modern Breakfast was excellent as was evening meal

Great food, very clean place , excellent staff

Everything was great

The staff were friendly and efficient, the breakfast was excellent, the best we have had at an hotel, the room was recently renovated and very clean

The room was relatively small but adequate, but probably good value

It was clean, the room (junior suite) was spacious. The location was perfect.

The property was fine but unfortunately, the guests opposite is were very loud and had various guests coming and going and banging on their door until 2am.

I enjoyed all aspects of our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty and generous in proportions. All at a very reasonable price.

No complaints

Very good breakfast choice, buffet or to order. Strong location if coming in by car. Easy by bus for Gosforth Civic Theatre, Metro Station and High Street restaurants. Well appointed room and bathroom. Whole hotel kept to a veey good standard. Access to on-site eating and drinking if wanted.

Just little odd things such as only one loo roll (had to ask reception for more) and an electric kettle tray in a location without a plug socket. But, in general, was all well run and receptive. Breakfast staff very good.

Clean, comfortable roomSpacious bathroom Friendly staffGood breakfastGood location

Really impressed with this hotel. Lovely staff, lovely room, great value. Nice pub next door with great food!

Perfect position for our long trip up for a day at the races. The staff were excellent, particularly on the phone - which was answered quickly. It was a long trip up to Newcastle and we were running late, I phoned and they checked the restaurant would stay open for us, which it did, and the food / atmosphere and staff in the restaurant were excellent too!

Great location for work, very close to A1 and plenty of parking. Room service was very good and the room was clean and comfortable.

As above, very inpressed

Breakfast and staff excellent. Free car park was a bonus.

Lighting. Two comfortable seats in the room would be better for us.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, quality toiletries.
