    Pros +

    • Standard room
    • Receptionist was very friendly and did his very best to meat our requirements and make our stay pleasant.
    • The room was quaite spacious even after Two double beds. Ample space. Comfortable beds. Location was good as we preferred slightly downtown. The property does not have any kitchen or restaurent, but provides Microvawe and Electric Kettle with sufficient crockery.

    Cons -

    • Probkem with electricity getting switch off and location
    • Not able to open window slightly for fresh air-ventilation was set on a central system and was very stuffy.
    • Hard to see which room number was ours, the sign NEXT to the door showed 2 numbers. Not important though, we had a key card which, presumably, didn't work on the wrong. Next visit, I'll bring my own bath plug or ask how it works

A lift to our room was a boon.Big room with a window that opened, real fresh air! Bath AND shower (though I couldn't work out how the bath plug worked, so showered) Although in a busy location, our room overlooked the back and was peaceful, spacious and comfy. Location. 25 min walk or 15min bus ride to Battersea. Easygoing, cheerful staff made us feel welcome and relaxed

    Location

Room was to hot, there is no window it's like a box..the price of 140£ a night in this hotel is not worth it.,didn't sleep at all.

The room is very nice and clean. The air conditioning works great. The reception was very polite.

From Gatwick, you have to take the train and switch lines midway, exit Battersea, walk across the road and hop on bus for a short ride then walk a tiny bit. Maybe there is a more direct way (using public transport) to get there that I wasn’t aware of.

Perfect location. Lovely room and very good reception staff.

The water in the shower was so hot we had to ask for help. But they came straight away.

Easy access, staff were lovely, big room and clean room

Bathroom smelly, tv out of date, window doesn’t open looks broken only two towels. And dirty cutlery in the room

Close to Battersea overground station, 4mins from Victoria stations. Quiet apartment on the top floor, good value for money.

The Battersea tube stop isn't that convenient, it is a bit convoluted to get to the main tube lines.

My room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Great to have a microwave kettle, tea, coffee and milk. Fresh towels daily. Great location near bus stop and Battersea Park.

Being on the ground floor meant that it was very noisy with people returning late from being out and reception staff also talking loud at all hours. If the doors in the hallway of the lower rooms were kept closed it would help the noise problem. My first few nights were ok but Friday Saturday and Sunday hardly got any sleep. Bathroom needs some hooks to hang clothes or towels. Also needs at least a small table in the bathroom because there was no where to put your toiletries. I actually put a bedside table in the bathroom.

Staff are very polite and friendly, attentive to their guests and their needs. They clean your room everyday which I like so much as we always have fresh towels. We went to Scotland for a few days after a 3nights of stay in Axiom, and today, we’re going back to the same hotel, because, why not? Couldn’t request for a better service!

    It was cheap

You get what you pay for, I suppose. How this is advertised as 4 star is a mystery. The foyer is a few seats with a sink area. The receptionist was awol when we arrived, and also not present when we tried to check out, a phone number was left, when we called the phone at the desk rang, not a lot of use, had to just leave key and go. When the receptionist eventually showed up on check in, they charged us extra to check in early, we were early, however this wasn't a fee to speed up cleaning, the room was ready, they jusy wanted more cash to let us in before 2pm.The room floors weren't particularly clean and looked nothing like the photos, the sink was mounted at an angle, the beds weren't very comfortable, and there was just a random fridge in the corner of the room, not attached to the kitchen area. Each night in the foyer, a group of men sat with a carry out and drank their cans all night. Oh, and the staff hoover the hallways at 8am, so if you wanted a lay in, you're not getting one. But to be fair it was quite cheap, but if you're travelling with children tho, I'd recommend somewhere else.

A fair walk to the train station.

    Location

The adjustment bars on the shower were missing and made it impossible to alter the shower temperature whilst in the shower with wet hands. The mattress had broken springs and so was hugely lumpy and uncomfortable. The kitchen sink water tap was complete loose and almost falling off.

    7MeronPosted on: 4-28-2025

The room was a good size and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and I got a decent nights sleep. And Yorkshire Tea was an excellent addition to the tea/coffee.

When I arrived the foyer was full of builders drinking beer, using it as a common room, and it was fairly intimidating as a single female traveller. There was no hairdryer which was annoying and there were dubious stains on the bedroom walls. The TV wasn't working.

    Friendly staff, good size room

Mirrors all in the wrong place for the light and the bathroom sink and bath don't drain well

Staff were great and very helpful

Very basic hotel. We were put in a lower ground floor room with no windows and only one eye level mirror in the bathroom. Paint flaking off bathroom door and smelt a bit musty. Cannot pull up at the front of the hotel and parking garage is round the back. Parking is from check in until check out for £20. (Parking on the street behind but looked like it was only for 4hrs at a time.)You have to ring the hotel to get them to open the gate to the parking garage. Tube is about a 15min walk away.
