Pros +
- this is a real gem. I stayed after I was in the area to see a Fulham game. The hotel is attached to a very good pub. It's also right on a high street with a lot of restaurants and shops. Couldn't be better.
- Very well designed, quiet, comfortable, and clean rooms. I had no noise from the street and no noise from the restaurant. Restaurant is very good (and popular) for dinner and breakfast. Bed was large and comfortable. Big desk, bathtub. Friendly and fast help from all staff.
- Atmosphere, reception staff were excellent. Room was excellent
Cons -
- Aircon difficult to use, room was too hot.
- My room was quite noisy being right by the stairs. Myself and another guest had to find someone to order breakfast with as the waitress was in the pub area chatting to other people instead of looking after the breakfast guests
- Nothing to dislike.

It's always a great stay at The Alma - luxury boutique hotel rooms attached to a pub, what more could you want. Make sure you try the full English breakfast. Great location too. I've stayed here many times, it's my go-to London hotel.
A nice big room (room 20). Good breakfast and great location
My room was quite noisy being right by the stairs. Myself and another guest had to find someone to order breakfast with as the waitress was in the pub area chatting to other people instead of looking after the breakfast guests
The staff was really great and the breakfasts were awesome. We were able to get into our room right when we arrived which was earlier than expected. It was really nice since we had been traveling overnight
The room was spacious and well furnished and decorated, and the beds were comfortable. The shower worked really well, and the facilities in the room were good plus a shared outdoor terrace which nice to have. It was also quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient. We didn't have the breakfast, but the food looked good.
Nothing to dislike.
Location.
Smelly room - waste pipe smell. The automatic door closure was set to strong and closed on me before I could get out of the room. I ended up with a cut on my hand.Quality of our evening meal, cauliflower cheese was burnt. Rhubarb crumble was actually apple, but they had not bothered to peel the apples, so the texture was awful. We were charged for both items even though we were told these would be removed from our bill. We only found this out when we opened our emailed bill at home.
Lovely room in a very lovely hotel / inn. Great bar and restaurant and really lovely staff!
Nothing, it was lovely
Despite being connected with a pub and conveniently located next to a train station (and good restaurants within easy walking distance), the place was nice and quiet at night. The staff - reception, bar, cleaner - were all very friendly. Most of all, I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
Location is excellent if using the train, and it is very quiet in the hotel. Breakfast is excellent
Excellent, spacious and nicely designed room. Great location. Fantastic restaurant and pub. Really good value.
I like the location close to the station. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable.
We arrived Sunday and had reserved a table that evening the food was good but there was a cup match on the TV. With numerous tvs and the noise in the bar and restaurant it was not ideal when you are trying to have a quiet meal after a day travelling.
Staff at bar and reception were great, the room was fantastic - spacious, clean and comfortable. Had everything that was needed and of a really high standard.
Did not eat - I thought £17 for a breakfast was excessive on top of £135 for the room only - so all my evening food and breakfast i ate else where
Bed was great, location excellent.Breakfast standart, but there was show the quality of the product
Please avoid room 12. The room is exactly above of ventilation and the ventilation running whole the time and if you close the window still you can hear it.
Location, room decor and bed was comfortable
Shower was cold/tepid. Staff weren’t exactly understanding. Manager offered compensation.
Right opposite the station, good variety in the mini bar. The staff were friendly.
Common areas need a bit of TLC
We arrived earlier than check in time and our room was ready so we could check in straight away. Bed comfortable and in geneal a great place to stay.
I couldn't get the TV to work.
Great location good transport connections as The Alma is opposite Wandsworth Town overground. Good access to the river for walks along Thames Path & also Wandsworth Town.Good place to eat. Unique & well appointed rooms. Very comfortable beds.
There was a problem with room key to our room when we arrived but staff did their best to manage the situation & were helpful. Staff taking their break & eating in the small reception area of hotel is perhaps not the best arrangement??
Lovely comfortable beds. Very, very clean. Very close to train station but doesn't bring you directly into main city. Very safe area
Bathroom door is a sliding door and led directly to side of bed. Very stiff and hard to fully close. Not ideal.
