Pros +
- DISAPPOINTING INHOSPITALITY
- I was satisfied with the provisions, just about. I knew the hotel is being re-branded because I stayed here a few months before and gave some feedback then. Breakfast was ok. Staff were also ok. Love Car Parking for free.
- Location. Clean.
Cons -
- Phoned ahead to request an upgrade to a room with a bath, Rude, unhelpful staff. Then my training dates changed and they would not allow me to change the booking (by 1 day!). I was charged the whole price of the room for not staying there,
- Quite disappointed that more has not been done to complete the re-branding and upgrading works. Only one of us brought a plug for our phone chargers so we had to share as there are still no USB chargers. There was no floor mat for the bathroom.

Becoming a bit tired and worn
The location is good for the M6. The bed is most comfortable I’ve slept in for an overnight stay. Unfortunately due to traffic we didn’t arrive until a lot later than planned so only actually had 7 hours there but the room was great and would definitely recommend
Breakfast
Near emergency exit - kept banging when guests used it
Room was neat, breakfast was not that rich but enough. I've stayed other Holiday Inn's in different countries and their breakfast was way richer as in types of food and drinks.
Unfortunately the room door is not sound proof. It's really bad. You can hear people's talking and walking easily.
Very clean friendly staff very helpfull
Long walk to rooms
Clean, tidy good value for money and friendly team members.
The location was excellent, it had a large car park and seemed clean overall.
The bed was rock hard and not particular comfortable. The low ceilings and fixed shower heads meant I was having a shower crouched down as I couldn’t fit under it otherwise.
had an accessible room which for the life of me couldn't understand why there's no wet room when the bathroom is huge! the shower leaked which made the water pressure even lower, but I believe it's not the major cause, so showering took ages. Tye bed was comfortable, the breakfast range was good, but I didn't like to keep touching the lids for every food item especially the eggs one which I realises the chef puts upside down, I presume so the inner handle doesn't pierce the eggs. Ample parking, quiet rooms, long corridors. Also attended an event which was well placed. Would stay again.
ShowerLids on breakfast items
Don’t stay here if you have a van stayed one night van stolen from car park even though right in front of reception afte
Van stolen
The bedroom was clean and the bed cosy. Breakfast was also good.
Outside noise. The doors need to be sealed in order to block out the noise from other guests. You can hear every time someone walks or their doors closing. I stayed there for three nights and didn't get a good sleep.
Location. Quick and easy access off the motorway
Reception staff when we arrived was quite miserable. We had booked double room. She wanted to give us a single room, why would we be happy with a single room when there we and my wife?It was until an another staff said to the reception staff to give us a twin room and we could join the beds together.
Convenient for the M6, but in a quiet location. The public areas are pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable.
I didn't like having to order dinner on a device on the table, rather than placing an order with a person. I found this irritating...
The receptionist Anthony was very professional and helpful
The swimming pool was dirty
Good
The pool was not in use and my children were very upset and we only booked this hotel for that reason.
room bed was very comfortable, breakfast had lots of option, however would be nice to have more vegeterian options
Cheap and great breakfast
Great for a holiday inn - bathroom slightly dated but otherwise all ok
Free parking, easy check in, room multimedia
Well located.Clean comfortable Good facilities
A lot of mess outside rooms with guests leaving items and not being picked up.Was woken up in a panic when the test fire alarm went off. No warning was given when I checked in the night before. What was further frustrating, was the phone in the room wasn’t working to inquire what was going on.Finally, I was told the breakfast would be £12 something if I booked at checkin and £16 something if I decided in the morning. I was told I had up to midnight to make the booking. When I called reception (from my mobile phone, as phone in room wasn’t working), the new receptionist said they knew nothing about the deal and made it out as of if I was trying on something to get away from playing the full price. I felt very uncomfortable and awkward with the conversation. I don’t need the awkward conversation for saving £4. So I decided to have breakfast elsewhere.
