Staff were lovely and the location is amazing!
Bed could have been more comfortable
Great location, lovely staff, excellent breakfast and dinner, comfortable beds.
Bathroom needed updating
Staff were excellent. The accommodation was comfortable and perfectly situated for what we wanted.
Bathroom could do with some updating, and the bedroom was a little bit on the small side.
I
Very disappointing compared to other Greene Kings I’ve stayed in.More like a guest house. The lady on the ‘very small’ reception was very nice & helpful. But my room was right at the top of some rickety old stairs and perhaps I shouldn’t compare but so much smaller than others. I wasn’t happy up there so decided to leave. The receptionist called me later to ask why I’d left and offered me a ground floor room but I declined.Breakfast would have been served in the pub opposite
Great location. Good parking. Fabulous friendly staff, good offer on bottles of Prosecco and had some delicious Sunday lunch before we left!
Nothing. Great place
Fabulous staff. Thank you to Janice & the lovely cleaning lady who helped us with our luggage. Just so kind. The room was definitely VFM.
The hotel exterior could do with a bit of a clean up to be honest. The dining area was a good size but it really needed a clean up, with dirty chairs and a general area of 'dismal'.
Comfortable bed and very clean Excellent breakfast and evening mealsSirloin steak superb and great value for the money
Nothing to complain about, staff all very polite and helpful Only downside was the lack of heating in our room on arrival on Saturday which wasn’t rectified until arrival of manager on Monday morning Evidently heating is controlled by a single thermostat on the ground floor.suggest Green King look into installing a separate zone valve for the bedroom areas
Bed comfy cleans sheets and pillows.Decent size bath.Very nice breakfast.Pleasant breakfast host.
Room small, walls and carpet dirty.Window wouldn’t open
Very friendly staff. Good parking. Quiet.
Mattress was a bit to hard.
Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Location was good. Room was comfortable.
The Bell Inn and Hotel occupies 2 buildings, facing one another on the main road through Woburn. It wasn't very clear how I was expected to get access when I arrived. I tried ringing the bell next to the locked front door of the hotel without any luck. I then tried across the road at the Inn - success at last. A notice on the Hotel door would have been helpful to know what to do to gain entry.I could not work out how to operate successfully the mixer shower unit in the bathroom. Also my room was right at the top of the hotel - not so good for a guest with heart problems.
The property and surrounding village is very lovely. Catherine was very lovely and explained everything at the reception. Unfortunately, the bad thing was we were kept up all night by an argument between a couple below us. It kept us up all night and ruined our stay.
Location & staff
Shower did not work no hot water unable to change the temperature
Lovely hotel in Woburn. They have rooms in the main building or over the pub. The room are simply decorated but nice with all the necessities. The building is old so expect some cracking and uneven floors, which is also good ts charm. Breakfast is very good. Recommended
Make sure you ask for a room in the main building if you want some tranquility. I was there on some week days and the pub was closing at 11PM so it didn’t disturb me but it could be different if you go early to bed
Fabulous shower
The room was very dated, bed not very comfortable and underneath the window so cold
In centre of woburn. Pub across road. Near to shop. Near to deer park
The friendliness and helpfulness of staff, and the cleanliness of the hotel.
Our room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel directly next to the busy main road. There was only secondary double glazing that was ineffective against the constant traffic noise, which continued all day and throughout the night.
Breakfast was excellent, shame no Greene King Ale on the pumps?
No draft Abbot Ale after two visits
