- welcoming staff, super clean, comfortable & good value for money
Cons -
- My room was above the pub garden which was in full swing on a clear and warm September evening, which mean that the noise didn't die down until closing time. Fair enough I suppose for a pub room. The pillows and duvet could have been a bit more comfy, but I guess that's subjective

- We had a standard room, so no wardrobe/drawers as was quite small and didn't like the open bathroom.

We were booked for a car club meeting at Biggleswade on Saturday morning. So we wanted to make it more enjoyable bye doing the 3 hour journey the day before. We stopped over at the Coach house in Potton 5 miles away, which made it a great weekend. On Saturday morning we arrived fresh relaxed and ready to enjoy day.
Staff friendly, great location, spotlessly clean.
We had a standard room, so no wardrobe/drawers as was quite small and didn't like the open bathroom.
breakast good, staff very helpful, car parking easy, refurbished rooms were excellent.
nothing really - all good
The Coach House seems to have been completely renovated. The room was very modern and newly decorated as was the restaurant and bar. The staff were all friendly and the food was excellent. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and also had a really nice breakfast each morning - there was plenty of choice apart from the full English and lovely warm croissants. The location was good for us as we visited RSPB Sandy on 2 days.
Staff and the room was great for a night stay
The bed was a medium double and the duvet small so cold
Checki n and everything was easy. The breakfast was good
Cleaner started at 8am - a 'phone charger was plugged in in the coridor which was next to my head in Room 5 - woke me! We went down for breakfast at 0925hrs and there were sheets and towels in the hall way - just wait until check-out - it is at 1000hrs (which is a little early TBH)!Table in breakfast table hadn't been cleaned since last usersBreakfast room is dark and needs painting in places - I know about the buffet, but when that is over, why not have cooked breakfast in front rooms overlooking the square...?Staff had always been "nice", but was a gap between arriving for breakfast and ordering - no one staff's job, it seemed..
Room was excellent, very comfortable bed and lovely shower.
The full english breakfast had a poached egg, no option for fried.
Lovely rooms and bathrooms, tastefully decorated and really comfortable beds. Friendly staff and lovely welcome after a difficult journey. Breakfast excellent - good selection.
Breakfast was good. Evening meal was budget friendly and good value. Free car park adjacent.
quite a few stairs to negotiate.
Food and Staff were awesome. Room was very clean and well appointed with a stunning rain shower. Wifi worked very well.Being located in the center of Potton is highly convenient if like me, you like small town living. There is a Tesco convenience store within a short walking distance.
I choose to book the single room. Having been spoiled by sleeping in a king every night, I forgot how small a single bed is. The single room is small and would not work for a person of much larger stature than my 6ft 200 pound frame. Bear in mind the accommodation is over a bar and restaurant. Cleaning staff are in early.
Excellent room and I was upgraded on arrival to a larger room. Breakfast was excellent- cereals, fruit , toast and a cooked breakfast.
Breakfast was very goodLocation good
Price of rooms was a little to much
Room was cosy, Very clean. Lovely shower. Shower gel , hand wash and towels included. Variety of teas and coffee. We stayed there as were attending a wedding breakfast there. Three course meal was excellent. Everyone was full after.Staff polite and helpful. My husband had the English breakfast and enjoyed it. We were able to help ourselves to a selection of cereals, tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, toast, (selection of jams for the bread). Also a bowl of fruit was available.
Very clean and functional hotel. Food was excellent. A couple of staff members were phenomenal. The supervisor who booked me in. And the lady who did breakfast. Both were outstanding.
Handy location
Check out Sunday 10.00 and £15 charge for a one hour extension. Having stayed at many hotels, 11.00 / 12.00 check out is quite normal and optional in some for the 12.00. The staff were very abrupt and any friendly negotiation clearly was not an option..!!
The location is great, just a little noise from outside. It would be good to have some healthier breakfast options if not eating a cooked breakfast (natural yogurt rather than the sugary fruit ones, some nuts and seeds perhaps).

Great breakfast, fresh pastries were lovely. Small choice, but good hot options. Full English was filling. Sausage was spot on. Staff were very attentive. Could have done with extending time to 09.30.
Be aware that there is no lift to second floor, quite a lot of steps. We had an 83 year old lady in our party staying on second floor. The owner and manager changed her room straight away, with no fuss.
