Pros +
- The facilities and kindness of staff. Easy to find, locate. Kettle in the room with biscuits for all guest as well as hot chocolates, just wasn't enough mugs. Asked for an extra one and was brought straight to me. The beds are comfortable, I had to ask for an extra bed which was supplied and just about fitted in the room.
- Comfortable double bed and nice hot shower with good water pressure
- Very convenient location during a working week at HQ in Cranfield. Staff were all excellent, polite and helpful. Good choice of food available in the evening. Reasonably priced food and drinks options.
Cons -
- It was a maze to walk around. Heater wouldn't heat up the room, I ended up just turning it off. Had the windows done a better job the heat might have stayed out. And the 9am wake up call, knock on the door I didn't want or ask for by 'housekeeping' I only booked for 1 night
- It would be nice to have had a cooked breakfast earlier than 7am as I had to be on a course with exams at 8am in the town centre. Also the TV was old and out of date with difficult and slow remote control.
- Bit dated decor and on arrival the room was very cold. Once I'd worked out the heating unit it got better.

As a residential education centre, the bedrooms are a good size with a comfy bed, large study desk, plenty of power sockets and ensuite bathrooms.I booked this stay at very short notice, having been let down by another hotel, but still got a reasonable price considering it was a midweek stay. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
There are limited parking spaces near the Reception area, but there's not much that can be done about that due to its proximity to a public road. There is, however, a large overflow car park a short walk away. My only quibble would be a lack of "back-to-back" spaces, which meant the rear of my vehicle (a 7 seat VW Multivan) was overhanging the bay slightly.
We came across an issue and it was sorted very quickly. Stayed here before going to the safari with my 2 year old, very happy.
Hot chocolate downstairs. Water coolers on each floor.Gym
Good access to free beverages in lounge area.Very helpful barman.
The bedroom corridors were noisy.Nice to have a bath but the bathrooms need updating as there was black mould.Heating in bedrooms needs upgrading. .ine didn't work
Great breakfast, good WiFi, clean and friendly. Plenty of parking. Will stay again.
Only slught downside was the echoing hallways but people pretty respectful of this.
Good location and comfortable room. Good parking facilities.
The Continental Breakfast, which is not included in the price, is not very good value for money. The Full English offers better value for money.
Value was acceptable
My room was cold after 4 calls to reception and radio silence between my call i finally got another room only to be told by the manager I shouldn’t wear shorts…. I was under the blanket fully dressed. The spa staff were unbelievably rude also
Bed was comfortable and clean.Bathroom was clean, warm with nice smelling shower gel provided.
No bed side light, strange led wall light??? No easily accessible plug next to the bed, had to drag the bedside cabinet away from the wall to use it.Bathroom decor needs some tlc, but very clean. On entry to the complex at night no obvious signage directing you to the hotel (conference centre behind hotel looks like photos of hotel).
Pleasantly surprised, exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, quiet. I'll definitely stay again.
Distance from my work
Bed was uncomfortable room was too smallWiFi didn't work
Price was great. Front desk was Super helpful. Nice coffee etc in lobby.
I screened hotels by pool - and booked this one based on pictures of pool. Pool was closed during our stay.
Passable
My room had an internal door that was paper thin and I could hear everything going on next door. No privacy at all and no peace and quiet. I did not sleep.
Everything! Clean hotel, free parking, easy check in, great staff, good bar menu, excellent breakfast
Nothing to dislike.
Staff were friendly and attentive Location was superb
Room was next to a fire door which was a bit noisy
Convenient location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
TV in the room was ancient. The remote didn't work. The desk lamp didn't work. The air conditioning unit didn't work. The light above the window didn't work.
Helpful staff, that recommend a great restaurant as theirs was closed
