- Beautiful room full of colours really nice great views of river
Cons -
- Nothing to complain about food also excellent and staff very polite definitely be back
- We booked a room with breakfast for over £200 per night. It was very disappointing to find out that we only had the basic breakfast included and we had to pay additional £7 to get proper coffees from the machine rather than filtered. There were two menus on the table - one for guests staying in and one for walk-ins which was much nicer. That takes a point off my 10 points score.
- Could do with maybe another lamp in the bedroom quite dark !

Our room was lovely - beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bedding was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was massive and very clean with nice towels. We stayed in Glenlivet room with a river view.

Very pretty cozy hotel with just the best staff and brilliant food.

In extremely difficult and challenging weather conditions all staff did everything possible to help my stay go well.
Provision of a room to sit downstairs apart from the bar/dining room.
The staff, delicious and generous breakfasts, television channels and all subscriptions Apple, Prime, Netflix etc.,The Mash Tun is on the banks of the river Spey and my room had a lovely view of it. There is a car park and plenty of parking in the vicinity.
No information in the room for WiFi code.
Perfect spot to enjoy the distilleries in the area. Location overlooks the river and bonus points for the electric charging points in the car park. Lovely seating area in the bedroom and really comfortable nights sleep.
Slightly expensive but that’s nit picking. Water pressure wasn’t great for the shower.
The position by the river was really nice.Rooms were small but well presented.Staff were helpful and accommodating.
Breakfasts were all excellent. We only had one dinner on the first night ordering 3 meals. 2 were fine the other not so, I was refunded but only after a discussion. It must be difficult to maintain fresh food in the slow season to be fair so don’t read too much into this.
Nice staff, location, very clean room etc. The food was also very good, one of the best burgers I've had and awesome breakfasts.
The owner(?)was scolding staff in front of customers, rather pathetic. The staff were excellent and should probably consider looking for new jobs, away from that tyrant.Expensive but we knew that before paying for it. The room was smaller than I expected though, 333 quid for 2 nights in a room barely big enough for the bed is a bit extreme.
Beautiful bed and breakfast place. The staff , pub and food were all great. Perfect spot to stay for touring the distilleries . Our room was very cozy and loved the free standing bathtub. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the location, decoration of the room, comfy bed and a good nights sleep.
Windows had condensation on in the mornings, difficult to open for air.
Very friendly, accomodating staff, feels luxurious! Bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch!
Room was a wee bit small for 2 luggages but I slid mine under the bed!
Liked the property very much! Decorated with a good taste, cute room, good stuff, good breakfast, nice bathroom. Very beautiful walk by the river that you can see directly from the window
Can’t find anything
Nice bar and restaurant in house. Overall very nice and maybe I just had too high expectations.
The rooms seemed smaller than pictured and/or we weren’t given the correct sized room. Most of the staff were great but there was an exception.
Very nice room "The Glenlivet", good location, best whisky bar
Unbelievable selection of whisky enjoyed by many. Staff doing an excellent job despite being so busy even the owner was mucking in and helping to serve excellent food . Around twelve people were turned away as they wanted to eat and drink there but it was fully out the door with no more space. The bar staff were under pressure but did a brilliant job keeping everything smooth. Special mention to Laura who was absolutely unflappable and managed to have time for everyoneNext morning breakfast was of a very high standard with the chef and breakfast waitress doing a really good job
Many roadworks around the streets so initially it was difficult to get near the hotel but after we eventually got into the car park we found each room was allocated a parking space so again well done and the roadworks was not the hotels fault
We love the Mash Tun for its charm, welcoming hospitality, location and delicious food. Our room was spacious, nicely appointed with comfy beds and had a lovely view of the river. The updated bathroom was very nice. We have stayed here 2 times and would definitely stay again!
Breakfast was ok but not offered juice or water when we sat down. I had to sit and watch my husband eat his porridge and didnt have toast even to eat . Got toast eventually with our next course . Just felt we kept having to ask for everything
Didnt like that we heard music from bar area when we were trying to sleep . Had to phone and ask for it to be turned off and then it was back on again at 7am !!
Room tastefully furnished, bed very comfortable. Staff friendly and very efficient.
Two flights of stairs to the top floor may not suit those with mobility issues. Booking in advance recommended for the restaurant.
