Cons -
- Room I have booked was not in the main building which they call Ardsheil. I had to pay 25 GBP to moved into a room that is actually in Ardsheil. No elevator for luggage and absolutely no help besides selling and selling. Never staying at Ardsheil agai
- Our room was pretty warm and there wasn't an easy way of controlling the temperature.
- I didn’t care for the ‘annex’ in which our room was in 3 doors away from the main hotel. It was easy to hear the other residents as the walls were thin.

Very dirty and terrible smell in the room. When we first entered the room, there was phlegm in the toilet and there were bugs in bathroom and on bed.
The style, that bar and the location were incomparable!
The shower cold be bigger
Very friendly and helpful staff.Great whisky bar!Excellent good value food.
Not the most comfortable of beds.
Great food and bar. Rooms were clean.
Room was small and bathroom was very small. No elevator to 2nd floor.
Staff was very accommodating when we arrived early and held our bags for us. Great dinning. The staff was so friendly and helpful.
The annex building, you could hear the neighbors having conversations. Thin walls.
Great location just outside the central bustle area of Campbeltown so easy to get to and plenty of parking but just two blocks to everything. Very friendly staff. Nice options for breakfast.
Somewhat small room. We were out in the annex and it isn’t clear why. Breakfast is not a buffet- they cook to order.
Great one night stay as was working locally.
Everything was great except for my room having a loose/wobbly toilet seat
Central location, room well equipped and clean. Strong WiFi signal. Good parking.
Emailed a week prior to book a table for evening meal however, no response received. A reply to the email would have been appreciated. During check in was advised table had been reserved. Staff chaotic at night with the busy restaurant area. Service could gave been better as staff were to busy in the restaurant. Slow service, stood for a while to get served, did not approach table for table service, took over 15 minutes to receive order of tea.
This is a classy hotel and I was a bit worried about arriving in my trekking gear. But the buget rooms are in a separate building and I felt fitted in. The staff were super nice and took everything in their stride. Super professional.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful Accommodation clean near the the centre of town and very comfy and quiet
The friendliest of staff from the minute we walked in the door, food was excellent , and the bar is just amazing ?
An amazing selection of Whiskey. Some old, some rare and some otherwise unavailable. Worth the stop just for this! Parking on site and a nice breakfast too.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming from when we entered the hotel until we left. Had a lovely and enjoyable dinner both nights food was great.
Being in the annexe so far from the hotel was a slight annoyance.
Location, food and welcoming atmosphere
Early breakfast and checkout on weekendsExtra hour would be fantastic
Still the best place to stay in Campbeltown, with the best whisky bar in town. The staff are fantastic and the food in the restaurant is also great and one of the better places to dine out in town. I highly recommend.
Not much… they changed dates for me even though I didn’t have a flexible booking.. that’s how nice they are…
Staff were all amazing. Breakfasts and evening meals first class. Whisky bar most impressive. All bar staff were very knowledgeable about local distilleries (and others). The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and the en suite had a great shower.Great location. Small town so everything was easily accessible on foot. Local airport access a bonus (from Glasgow).
Only had 4 days.... could have stayed longer.
Good location, good food, great bar selection, friendly staff and comfortable beds
