Gym, comfy bed, good friendly staff, good breakfast.

Poor shower pressure, wifi was almost non-existent, bath was stained, 12.5%tip added to our evening meal without any mention of it and then i noticed on the recipt after we had paid that it was 'optional' there wasn't any clear option about it! Very nice food though, we just dont get reimbursed for tips on business trips so that unexpectedly comes out of my pocket.

Clean rooms, great gym lovely pool,jacuzzi and sauna. Hot water. Friendly stuff. Great gold course. Good check out time and you can stay after check to enjoy the pool and the gym and the gold course.

The spaces between the rooms and the main part of the hotel are bit cold. The food at the bar is bad. We asked for a medium/medium rare burger and they said that the Marriott policy is to serve all burgers at the exact temperature, medium well. The chicken burger was dry and in general they need to improve the kitchen.

Fab breakfast. Loved our little house and how clean everything was. The leisure centre and esp hot tub was great!

The pool could have been heated.USB points in the room.

The room was not clean. Woodlice and hair in the bathroom. Furniture was all scratched and looking a bit sorry for itself.

Food was excellent.

Bathroom needed renovation. Shower pressure non-existent.

The staff were lovely. The surroundings beautiful. Despite being a very busy venue with golfers and weddings, the staff managed the numbers so well. We were always served well. The pool was great.It is very well run.

The pints are pricey. The food is good but expensive but that is hotels.

Nice location in the countrside surrounded by the well kept gold course. Busy without being noisy. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was goof to be able to use the pool and spa as part of the stay. This was in quite good condition. It was nice to sit in the garden in the mornnig and listed to the bords singing on the woods.

The room was nowhere near the attractive old part of the accommodation shown in the picures. If was one bedroom in a small house containing three bedrooms down a lane that looked like any recent suburban development. The room was then quite bright at night as the streetlight from the road shone straight down the corridor into the bedroom. A generous 2 bicusits were supplied for the three days as that's the default for the suburban flats to be serviced.

Beautiful hotel to stay in. The room was comfortable and clean. The entrance to the hotel is striking and both the restaurant and bar serve good food and are worth eating in. The gym and pool are fantastic. The changing rooms are clean and easy to navigate.

It is not clear where to go for hotel guest parking when you arrive on site. The parking spaces are very small in some areas making them tight for larger vehicles.

Loved this hotel, rooms were amazing and lovely breakfast, sadly didn’t get chance to experience the rest of the facilities as ran out of time but did manage a lovely walk along the Welsh coastal path which is easily accessible from the hotel grounds

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and good service, the room was comfortable and well presented. Clearly mainly a golf hotel with a spa it ticked all the boxes. We stayed for 2 nights for the wedding of a family member.

On the morning of the second day there was no hot water. The water in the shower was tepid at best. I feel that this is very poor due to the size and style of the hotel.

There was absolutely no noise insulation. We listened to the couple next door to us until 6am.

The staff, the pool and gym facilities. The honeymoon suite was fantastic.

The bedroom itself had a lovely view of the golf course.

Staff didn’t let us check in until dead on 2pm - We asked to check in at 1.55pm and they wouldn’t let us. Dinner for all you can eat was £36.95 per person

Location and setting

Spa and hotel wasn't as good as the Mariott in Bristol. All looked like it needed a refurbishment.
