Lovely room, comfy bed GREAT food!

Location was good and bed was comfy, room was clean.

Was quite below standard in terms of exceptional creaky flooring, doors not blocking out corridor lighting Nd ivy growing in through bathroom velux window. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was not up to standard.

The staff were amazing and helpful. The room was perfect and the pub was very welcoming and warm. Food was lush and affordable too.

Very dated,not clean,dangerous electrical elements in walls for kids to touch,exterior was run down and rubble across frontage.Breakfast very basic with milk just having orange juice around lid so hadn’t been cleaned from previous useage.

Lovely atmosphere, welcoming staff, lovely wood fire by the bar. Peaceful at night, my single room looked over the garden.

Bed very soft, not my preference.

Popular quiet location of town. Serves good food, burgers are amazing! If you just want somewhere to rest your head this place is a good place to start, tea & coffee in the room, with a decent size tv. Bathroom recently refurbished all worked ok, clean towels & travel shampoos and shower gels.

I have to say that the price of the room for the night NOT including breakfast was high to be honest. To actually charge a further £8.95 for breakfast, I thought was a cheek given the breakfast that was presented the next morning. Don’t get me wrong it was tasty and good quality but I had a massive plate with rationed items. No more than a tablespoonful of beans added to the plate, which is highly unusual tbh and given how cheap they are! Just thought that £79 for the night with no breakfast was high for an out of season stay, with no breakfast .But I wouldn’t rule this out for staying here…. But would be something perhaps management should consider.

It was worm in the room

Room and bathroom full of cobwebs, towels old and torn. Breakfast very poor for the money. Room for the breakfast was freezing.Shower didn't have pressure, it was hard to take a shower.There was stains and mold on the ceiling.

Its an old inn building full of character, close proximity to a large superstore so convenient to buy groceries.

The floor creaks a lot as it is an old building.

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very nice. Room was generally very spacious and comfortable.

Problems with shower.

Nice room its a very old inn so quirky, uneven floors , crikey floors , different size doors , i think 12 rooms , lovely bar area good food and reasonable priced . Nice area near town centre.
